The solid pine frame has been stained and lacquered to let the natural beauty of the wood shine through, while also making it more durable and easy to care for.

You can sit up comfortably in bed and lean against the headboard – just put a few pillows behind your back to enjoy a snug place for reading or watching TV in bed.

Visible metal screws are part of the design, giving the bed frame a robust and honest expression.

There’s plenty of space under the bed for storage boxes - perfect for storing extra duvets and pillows.

    Combine this bed frame with a slatted bed base with a max. thickness of 4 cm to keep the slats hidden in the frame. The slats of a higher bed base may be visible along the sides of the bed.

Fantastic little bed!WayneBought this in 2014 when it was offered in the unfinished pine version. This is one super sturdy bed! It has withstood being unassembled and reassembled 3 times; have had adults of different weights sleep on it (it's in a spare room) and is still going strong -- no squeaks or splits in the frame. I stained and varnished the unfinished wood to reinforce it and prevent chips and stains. Now, understand, I bought this post-Covid and I cannot attest to the quality of bed currently offered (as many can testify, quality has went downhill in almost every sector of industry), so, purchase at your own discretion.5

Got this for my teen, and I’m really pleased with this purchase. It is a basic bed, low profile, and it looks neat in a small bedroom. Assembly was easy, everything fit together without a flaw. I got the foam mattress, and it is perfect.
