So frustrated with removing residue inch by inchMA followup to my previous review as I cannot respond to your response there IKEA; I am on the floor with warm soapy water, a soft sponge and paper towels -- this residue is literally taking me many hours over several days to remove. I find it impossible to believe that my situation is unique. Seriously, this is crazy. I am a huge IKEA fan but this product should offer a warning that this will happen. What if you're moving and you realize this issue when you pull up your carpets with the moving truck outside? Luckily I am not in that situation but this is painstaking hard work that I really did not expect to have to do when I wanted to refresh three extra large (IKEA) carpets and several runners -- I am replacing the VISTOFT (250cm x 350 cm each), which I adored but needed refreshing, for STOCKHOLMs so you can imagine how many square inches there are to carefully scrub.
Left with sticky residue on floors all over the houseMIKEA, this is unacceptable! We are removing the STOPP filt we have used all over our solid maple wood floors (living room, dining room, hallway) and we are left with a sticky residue that is proving impossible to remove. How on earth are we going to get this clean?! Terrible -- it worked to keep the carpets in place but at what cost?! Please don't buy unless you want to ruin your floors.

Works very wellBrianAnti-slip fabric is great. It's sticky, which is awesome, so it keeps the rug in place. It can be a bit finicky to unfold and get into place because it has some stickiness, but it's very workable.
NOT safe for use with vinyl floors.ChristineI am so disappointed. I thought one side would be felt while one side synthetic latex however both sides were synthetic latex. Then I found out it discoloured vinyl floors. I do not recommend unless it is tile floor.

These stop working after a whileLidiahI’ve had to replace these a few times as they lose their grip after you move them to try to clean under your rug. I’ve also noticed they seem to attract silverfish. They must like the sticky substance that’s used.
Also, these smell yucky.
