Serious ResidueEmmaOh this underlay definitely works, but it will also leave glue all over your floors. Like another reviewer imagined might happen, I *did* discover this while in the end stages of packing up my house for sale. I had three of these in my house, down for five years each, and it was a mess. Not worth it!!1

It comes folded and, because it so sticky, it takes a lot of work to pull apart.
Once pulled apart, it does not lay flat due to stretching in the fold creases.
It's hard to position a rug on it because, again, it's so sticky.
And, no matter what you do, the carpet will be lumpy because this underlay does not lay flat.
This entire product needs to be reconceived.
I will be returning it.2

Sticky residueDianaThe pad worked great for keeping my carpet in place and I had no issues for years. However, just like another review, when I redid my office a month ago and decided to remove the carpet, getting the sticky residue off my hardwood floors was terrible! Soap and water only gets off a portion of it and I needed to carefully scrape off the rest of the residue. Be weary of this! 3
