NoisyMarcI regret buying an ikea bed. It was fine for the first few weeks, now it creaks loudly when getting on or off the bed, and sometimes while just tossing and turning. I removed the mattress and tightened all the hardware, the sound seems to be coming from the slats rubbing against the metal. Or maybe its the metal on metal joint plates. I'll try to troubleshoot a bit more but if I have to mess around with duct tape or felt pads after paying this much for a bed frame I'd rather throw it out and be done with it. Very disappointed.2
My knees hurt by the end corner so many timesLeonI don’t think the bed frame itself is bad, but it’s falling apart after a year of use. Additionally, the two top corners of the bed end panel are sharp and have repeatedly hit my knees. 3
Falling apart - Don’t recommend itRolaUnfortunately this bed turned out to be not sturdy at all. It’s literally falling apart after 1 year only. I had bought the cheapest bed they have 5 years ago and it was sturdier and lasted for 5 years. So more expensive isn’t always better. I definitely don’t recommend buying this one. Money wasted :/ do better IKEA!1
