Squeaky bedAsyaI've been using IKEA beds for almost 23 years of my life. First, I had a Malm bed (very rattling), then one that was discontinued, and now I've decided to switch to Songesand. I was sure that they had improved all those imperfections, but I was wrong. We assembled it very carefully and precisely, ensuring we didn't miss anything. However, the metal part of the bed frame is horrible, and most of the noise comes from there. More than three months have passed, but if I could return this bed, I would do it right away.
Strong and good qualityNavpreetEven though it’s a little bit hard to assemble, the end product is really great. It does not have good finishing but it is also very stable and hard. The only thing I am a little bit worried about is making a scratching sound while stepping out and in bed.
Overall great bed. But there should be replacements parts.SherneekaI bought this bed in 2021 for my son. It was a bit complicated to assemble. However he accidentally crack the legs of the headboard while trying to move the bed, and there’s no replacement part for the cracked leg. Everything else is in tack, but that one leg. I wish they would sell certain parts separately, cause I won’t mind repurchasing the headboard only.
Decent but noisyDustinEasy to put together and works well as a bed but it is fairly noisy just getting in and out of bed. Can be rectified by putting something soft around the ends of the slats but wish it wasn't necessary.
It’s good! JudeSturdy bed frame. I’m about 225lbs and no issue with this frame. No squeaks or creaks. Suits me well. Solid purchase.

Don’t suggest for small spaces:(FreyaGreat quality bed, purchased back in 2019 or 2020 and still going strong! Only thing is that I wish I’d seen it in store before purchasing online, but I don’t have an ikea near me. It’s perfect in Everest except…I have a small room so I am CONSTANTLY banging my legs and feet on the hard pointy wood corners. It happens WAY to often and I’ve gotten too many bruises from this. I’d wished I’d looked at the images closer so I didn’t make the mistake of purchasing this item. Hope no one else had this very painful issue.
*also I remember it was really hard to put together and took quite a while..so fair warning!!

Assembly nightmareBruceWhen the bed is assembled its good. But 194 pieces to assemble a double bed more should have been done in the factory.
Good enough but not long termKsenyaHad the frame since 2020 and its served us well. Sturdy enough and does the job. Headboard is not comfortable to lean on by any means, but that’s to be expected as it’s wooden. Only complaint is that it doesn’t hold up well over time, as my husband’s side (weighs about 86kg) is all squeaky because of the wear and tear of the slits. At this point it’s quite loud to sit on, even for me (74kg) even when sitting as gently as possible. It’s time to replace. Considering the price though, it makes sense that it lasted just a few years before needing to be replaced.

Not great , rattling noise is coming KrishnaDue to its length without any support in between there is lot of rattling noise. Also, see the slats design is not that great . Over all I won’t suggest to this.
