Decent but not perfectBerilIt's very practical for apartments with big windows. It's more sheer than the photos. During the day you receive the day light so it's a plus but on the other hand, in the evening you don't get much privacy. One of the handles has cracked by the time also.3
Great BlindLisaBought these blinds to use on the inside of our exterior French doors. They are perfect for blocking out the sun in the afternoon and privacy in the evening. They have held up well for 10 plus years. Will buy again.5
Roller blind. TracyWe purchased this particular blind because of the location of our window. Wanted the light to still filter through, but needed to tone down the amount of direct sunlight coming in. We also have a light tint on our windows (like your window screen Color) to prevent UV damage to furniture and window coverings etc. this blind seems to do exactly as it’s claimed. Other than getting used to a frosty look now, (we keep it down all summer), it’s in the staircase. We love it! Considering switching out the faux wood blinds to these as well, due to cordless and slow recess. We also use blackout curtains and feel this combination is perfect. You can see out with light filtering, but it seems harder to see inside even with lights on (with my tinted windows as well). Unfortunately they don’t have a size large enough for my living room or family room windows. Light weight and easy to mount (we did inside mount). 5

Quality is decreasedKarin-AnnI have purchased these blinds in the past, and the quality of the fabric is no longer the same. Previously they were a matte finish and wrinkle-free. Now there is a sheen to them, and don’t appear flat. I love the style of these blinds, but had I known the quality has decreased this dramatically, I would have purchased something else.3

Wish there were more sizesMichelleThis blind is good for light filtering, but lacks privacy (it is listed as sheer fabric, so that is expected). However, my window size is 39" inside dimension and 42" to the outside of the trim. The 48" sticks out a couple of inches on either side of the trim. Additional sizes between the available 38" and 48" would be appreciated.4

Didn't last longAlanBought one for the skylight a few years back and was glad how it looked. However, the fabric became brittle and disintegrated at about 5 years. Since holes were drilled on the ceiling specifically for this curtain, we have no choice but to buy an identical one as replacement knowing it won't last. Would be great if Ikea sells the fabric only so we can stock it up for near future repairs. I am stuck and disappointed.1

Works as a sheer blindAndrewIf you want a blind that filters light rather than blocks it, this is a good choice.
Easy installation - you will need screws/plugs/etc to mount the brackets to you wall or window casing.
When closing, the blind rolls slow; not a problem once you realize that it's not a defect.5
Completely transparent at nightSarahI thought this would provide some privacy, but it was quite a while before I learned that while it looked like people couldn’t see in, they actually could! This was terrible news for showering with a view into the washroom from the street.1
SatisfiedAnneLove the simplicity and chique look and for the value, it does the job well. My only issue is that it does not come with screws or anchors, only the frame clips and would prefer the wall screws and anchors be part of the purchase. Thankfully we had them but for a student or someone with limited tools and hardware, they would not be thinking of this.5
