The table has a full plank design that gives it an authentic plank expression with a genuine wood feeling.

The plank expression is enhanced by the design on the edges.

Oak is an exceedingly strong and durable hardwood with a prominent grain. It darkens beautifully with age acquiring a golden-brown undertone.

Every table is unique, with varying grain pattern and natural color shifts that are part of the charm of wood.

Good environmental choice, because the method of using a top layer of solid wood on particleboard is resource-efficient.

Beautiful and SturdyJENNIFER M.This table is awesome. Better than I expected. It was fairly easy to piece together with the included instructions. The hardest part was flipping it over and placing it upright after it was assembled. My two kids and I did it, just barely. We propped it up on some of the packing cardboard to allow our fingers to get underneath then lifted it in 2 stages. Also, lining up the hardware to catch inside the holes was a bit tricky sometimes too. I used a flathead screwdriver to help align the metal catch in the correct position. The table was assembled in its final location, too heavy to move around. It looks amazing in our dining space and seats 6 chairs along the sides very comfortably. I'm sure we could make the table fit 10 people using the ends without much discomfort. I was deciding between the other style with the acacia table top and black legs. I'm really happy I went with the oak table top, even if it is an oak veneer it is still thick enough to look and feel beautiful.5

Material

What is veneer?

A veneer is a thin wooden sheet fixed on things like particleboards to add a durable surface and a natural wood look – so we enjoy the many benefits of wood without using solid wood. The most common veneer types are birch, ash, oak and beech and we’ve made a special UV lacquer that helps preserve the wood's natural structure. A benefit with a slightly thicker veneer is how you can repair and sand the surface if it’s damaged to give furniture a longer and more beautiful life.
