Bring back the black colorJeffWhy must every company ruin a good thing. So much bedroom furniture comes in black. Except one of the most popular sellers. Why did you discontinue?
NOISYSergeThe old MALM (lower platform) was overall better quality. The new model uses L-brackets to support the bed frame, which have to be removed if you want to disassemble the bed. This makes the frame less sturdy when reassembled, as you have to screw the wood screws back into the same holes. The screws tend to loosen over time, causing the frame to make noise. I have to tighten them about once a month to get rid of the noise. It's getting very annoying.

Excellent valueLynnI bought the full size for my daughter when she moved out 13 years ago. She has assembled/dissassembled this bed 5 times for moves and it is still in excellent condition. I just bought a Queen size for our guest room knowing it will last. Note that this is a low to the ground platform bed with slatted base for mattress (does not accommodate a boxspring).

No way to fix the squeaky noiceJen-YenThere’s has always been the squeaky noice from the bed frame. I went back to the store and asked for the solutions, they gave me new sets of slats stoppers, but they still didn’t resolve the problem. It doesn’t matter how tight I screw the bed frame, the noice is still there. Please avoid!!

The top portion of the bed frame snapped off in December 2025.
I would not recommend this bed frame.
It is very poorly made.
