Pain to assembleLakshmiLovely concept but what a nightmare to assemble. a number of holes were too small for the nuts and I had to spend hours trying to grind it out to fit the parts. plus one of the screw heads snapped clean off and was impossible to remove. wood not recommend2
Ivar desk/Drawing board is not solid or laminated pine, bur rather it is plywood. FranDisappointing, as it is too heavy and awkward to put up and down. Gateleg gets in the way of chair. Plywood looks cheap and doesn't match the knotty pine of the older Ivar products. OK if you are using it in a garage or going to paint it. Not OK for living room just varnished. 3
Perfect for my sewing area!LisaI have been wanting something low-profile for my tiny craft area for ages, this is a perfect solution. I only wish that you could also buy extra shelves for underneath (like the one it comes with) so I could make better use of that space behind the table when it's folded down.5
