wobbly, flimsy, complicated to assemble but okLiamNote that the small metal screws for the drawer slides are a different size from the metal screws for holding the sides in place on the shelf.
The bottom is thin fibreboard. The weight of the drawer is all on four tiny wooden plugs - you could replace those with short metal bolts easily, no drilling needed, but you'd still have the weak bottom.
There are two possible positions for the metal sliders on the uprights fastened to the shelf; with one, the shelf sticks out a little from the front of the IVAR unit, and with the other it's slightly recessed. The instructions aren't very clear about which holes to use or why there are multiple holes.
Once in place, the draw slides in and out easily, even if it doesn't feel all that solid.
You don't need a shelf under it; it doesn't sit on a shelf. A shelf over it will help reduce dust getting inside, probably.
The side units slide downwards in the shelving unit during installation. so need space above to put together.
