TerribleBernardBought two of these. Picked them up at the local Ikea which was super slow, probably because it looked understaffed. Got them home. Surprise, surprise both start charging my phone then stop after a few seconds. Same happens for my wife’s phone. We have different phones with different cases. Everything is wireless compatible, we even tried to take the cases off. So now I have to take these overpriced pieces of trash back to IKEA. What a waste of time.1
Unfortunate it uses the mini bulbMarkThis light unfortunately uses ikeas smaller bulb which cannot get smart features or remote on and off. They also aren't nearly bright enough at maximum brightness (half the brightness of a regular bulb..) The wireless charger is also extremely slow.2

Great LampBradenThe wireless charging works well, only major issue is the type of bulb the lamp takes. Chandelier style bulbs are rare and an A type bulb would make replacing a bit easier.4

I love Hektar (not least for the name) - but it has generous proportion with out being clunky. The army drab colour highlights the soft gentle glow from the bulb. Hektar creates gentle mood in a minute.

“When I designed HEKTAR spotlight I was so inspired by the look that I designed a few more lamps. I was inspired by old factories and wanted to bring that feeling into the home. The large lamp shades in metal are contrasted by a glossy cream-colored lining inside. This, together with the large details, is what creates the industrial feeling. Thanks to the large shades and light lining HEKTAR gives very good light, and a lot of it."
