Not practicalSaraPretty and stylish but not vety functional. I used three of the recommended bulbs and the light is very low. Also each lamp turns off with a very small button. No button to turn off all together.

Be respectful of the people who spend their money hereOksanaYou sent me a product that was previously assembled and disassembled. This is evidenced by numerous traces (peeled paint) in the joints and on other parts of the product. In addition.. it was noticeable that the product was not packed from the factory. The cardboard and paper on the lamp were previously removed .It was noticeable. Before sending the product.. at my expense - check it. I bought it for full price, not as a used one.
Unusual choice of the light bulb size for this kind lampBernardI was surprised with the Ikea choice of using decorative size light bulb for this industrial and large looking lamp.
Why not make this product with the standard size bulbs? Why limit people to low light when compared to regular lights? I do not think this design is a smartest.

Hektar the floor lampRichardThis is a great light. Good quality. Really stable due to the very heavy base. Each light can be turned on or off individually. It does anything you could expect of a floor lamp of this type. Assembly was dead simple. Good value for the money.
Simple, modern living room lampsAhI like the simple yet modern design of the lamps. It fits in with the sofa that I've in my living room. It's also very functional because I can angle and turn on/off each lamp individually.

My apartment living room doesn't have an overhead light. This lamp throws enough light to brighten the room. (Especially if you point the top light at the ceiling)
Minimalistic Accent lamp that provides ample lightingDanielleMy condo doesn't have any lights in the living room, so I was looking for a floor lamp that would provide enough ambient light for the evenings, but also looked neutral and non-tacky in the room.
The Hektar lamp was a really affordable compromise versus other options that were up to 10x the price!
It now sits in the corner of the room, and I like that I can angle some of the lights against the wall to reflect light further throughout the room, in addition to providing a spot light effect. It also has a relatively small footprint which is another plus!
It's not the brightest lamp, but combined with my kitchen or hallway light (I have an open floor plan) it adds just enough to provide a balance of "bright enough" and "cozy" to the space.
