Really nice sets of lightsMonaReally nice sets of lights for our hallway. Only thing we did not like was the mounting plate. It would look much better if the color matched the fixture.3

Won't Run Parallel to my CounterLECTI bought and partially installed this before I realized I could not align it parallel or perpendicular to my countertop. There are two small curved slots to allow some variation depending on where the two side screws are on your electrical box but there was not enough of a slot to turn the fixture till it was parallel or perpendicular. I phoned IKEA support and they agreed I would just have to return the light. Unfortunately, since I live a half hour drive from the nearest IKEA this was a hassle. They should have info on the OUTSIDE of the box showing what will be required to be able to use the light. We were able to use a Ranarp which has much longer slots allowing more variation.1

“When I designed HEKTAR spotlight I was so inspired by the look that I designed a few more lamps. I was inspired by old factories and wanted to bring that feeling into the home. The large lamp shades in metal are contrasted by a glossy cream-colored lining inside. This, together with the large details, is what creates the industrial feeling. Thanks to the large shades and light lining HEKTAR gives very good light, and a lot of it.”
