The bed base can be placed at two different heights.
One crib side can be removed when the child is big enough to climb into/out of the crib.
Your baby will sleep both safely and comfortably as the durable materials in the crib base have been tested to ensure they give their body the support it needs.
The crib base is well ventilated for good air circulation which gives your child a pleasant sleeping climate.

For your child's safety, use a 27½x52" crib mattress with our cribs.Do not leave anything in the crib or place the crib close to anything that could provide a foothold.It is important not to screw in hooks or handles onto the crib or place it near ropes, belts, curtains or anything else that can present a suffocation or strangulation hazard.To avoid the risk of a child falling out of the crib, the crib base should be lowered to the lowest level as soon as your child can sit up on their own.Complies with US standard 16 CFR 1219.

Good Sturdy CribAnonymous reviewerThis appears to be a good sturdy crib, although I do wonder how sturdy it'll be for a toddler. It wasn't too difficult to build, but I did find it difficult to put the wooden pegs in. But I guess the better fitting the wooden pegs are, the sturdier the crib should be. In terms of dimension, it was a good size. It wasn't too high so it'll be easier to put baby down. Now, do note that there are warning messages on the outside of the two ends. If you don't mind it, then it shouldn't be an issue. I didn't mind it since to me, a crib is a crib, the most important is that the crib is sturdy. Also, double check everything before building. Because, upon opening the package, I noticed a tiny bit of wood was chipped on one of the pieces.

Manufacture Date is 2007 ???ChristelleI just bought this crib May 2020 and the manufacture date for the IKEA Canada Limited Partnership form is 2007. I couldn't any other date on the crib to indicate the manufacture date. I would return the product if I don't know when it was manufactured.
Good until baby starts teething!VivianThe crib was perfect when our baby was still a newborn. Once the bed was lowered and she started teething, she'd constantly have pieces of chipped paint all over her mouth everytime we would come to get her after a nap. I feel like teething is something to be expected so why does the paint come off so easily? We can't do anything to stop this from happening aside from buying another bed.

Nice crib for the first 8 monthsPingWe loved the crib, that is why we bought it originally, great price! But unfortunately, after using it for 8 months, one day we noticed there was a little piece of metal lying beneath the crib, and after some investigations, we know it came from a broken part of the crib(the part looks like a hook, part number 105657). We are lucky to find this piece before our baby eats it or hurts himself. we brought the broken part to customer service and ask for replacement for the broken, the answer we got was they don't carry parts for cribs, and I have to order them online, it was really upsetting and confusing, not sure why wouldn't customer service carrying replacement parts for one of its product.
AMAZING!!!AnonymousPut this crib together over a 100 times. My brother kept moving in and out of what would have been my sons room. Very straight forward and sturdy. Just adjusted the mattress so it is now on the lowest of the two settings and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Oh and it comes in one flat box so it’s great for getting home!

The bed is cute, easy to assembleAnonymousI bought this a month ago for my 20 months son. We assembled it in no more than an hour. It was pretty easy and we love it. I seat on it with him for his story times before bed. And he is very happy sleeping on it. Its cheap and i like it. I wont feel bad giving it away to anyone when he grows out of it. Or just throwing it away after 3-4 years max. Lol

Never buy this or any child assembly as a giftAnonymous reviewerI received this crib a month ago from a family member who was visiting in town as a baby shower gift. There were missing screws from this so I thought hey ill just go to ikea to get new ones! Wrong. They don't give you missing products (even if its there fault) and if you didn't buy it - you cant refund it or exchange it. So now im 5 weeks out stuck with a crib that cant be put together and no way of getting the right screws (unless I want to risk buying ones that dont go with the crib as recommending by the customer service telephone line)
