The bed is great, but putting it together was difficult for us.LindaThe instructions are to put the middle cross pieces together first. When trying to put further pieces together around it, it came apart. We did get the bed together. It was tricky. And a little frustrating.
missing holesLaurieVery very disappointed in this bed. I bought two of those, and both were missing holes in the one board to attach another board. IKEA did offer to give a refund / exchange, but the bed is already half build, and the boxes were so heavy to bring home, that it is too difficult to bring the beds back to IKEA. I am very disappointed that there is obviously a faulty board in this bed, as both beds have it.
BedWendyVery nice bed perfect for my small space . I had purchased one for my much larger space years ago and really liked
Very effectiveAlinePretty easy to build. Looks great when done
Love it!MeganWe love how the bed turned out! The drawers are large and very sturdy!
Amazing bed frameLeonaIKEA has the best furniture, well build and string materials. It doesn’t fall apart in time and stays sturdy. Modern look is amazing!! Have a day bed that turns into a king from IKEA and have had it for 10 years and still great bed.
I would recommend IKEA always
Finally found the solution …LiseTo the lack of storage space in my small apartment !
Brimnes bedframeSheriI had this product delivered. It came in a reasonable time. Was super easy to build. My daughter loves this bed frame.
The bed is beautifulFernandaThe bed is beautiful, sturdy, and well-built. The drawers are spacious and provide plenty of storage. The assembly instructions could be improved by including labels or numbers for the wooden parts, not just the screws. That would make the assembly process much easier and clearer. Overall, I am very happy with the bed.
Not a great bed frameJanineThe bed frame was so complicated to put together, even Taskrabbit couldn't do it properly. It smelled putrid as well, like old garbage. One those two accounts, this bed frame is not recommended.
NoisyKatieLove the bed for the storage. But the bed is noisy. One tiny movement and it creaks and you can feel the bed shift. If you’re a light sleeper do not buy. If your a younger adult with significant other living with other people do not buy!!!
DamagedMalikPart of the bed was visibly damaged/scratched
It’s a good bed overallRoselyTe drawers are deep and fit a lot of clothes
Lots of storageSonjaThe drawers are deep, the bed is sturdy. Clean look.
Nice bed, tons of storage space!RobinI bought two of these for each of my kids and then found out they have a bit of a reputation as being challenging to build. I consider myself a relatively experienced IKEA builder but this is by far the most complicated piece I've built so far. It took about 4 hours total, was very straightforward, as always the instructions could be a little clearer especially with so many types of screws that look similar. This is definitely a two person build as there are steps that would be virtually impossible to push long pieces together alone. Something to note: the insides of the drawers are grey, when I opened box 3 I had a moment of panic that I somehow got the pieces for a grey bed instead of black as was indicated on the box. Also do yourself a favor and pick up a cheap drill on Amazon if you don't have one as there are many screws to put in.
The bed itself feels very sturdy, drawers are huge, very happy with it.
Bed broke after 3 years. Not worth it long run.EmmaBe prepared to replace the metal support that runs through the centre. It tore at the head like a sheet of paper, after 2 years of use. Upon replacing it, one side panel also tore when I put the mattress back on. Returning the new metal beam. Would only buy this bed if you want to get a new one in 3 years.
Great Kids BedSusanWe were searching for children's beds with underbed storage and the Brimnes fit our needs and expectations.

Perfect for Kids RoomSusanWe purchased this bed for our grandson. We had particularly been looking for underbed storage. This bed fit our needs perfectly and our grandson loves it.
Terrible bed frameSylviaThis bed frame is the worst. The drawers don’t close properly and don’t stay together. The nails Keeps coming off. Honestly worst bed frame ever. Extremely bulky and unusable,
