Do not recommendChrisI purchased this bassinet, and the entire experience has been frustrating from start to finish.
First, the assembly instructions are terrible - unclear diagrams and no proper guidance. As another reviewer also mentioned, there were issues with the screw holes - in my case they did not align properly, making the assembly difficult and time-consuming.
On top of that, the first unit I purchased was missing a wooden plank piece, which meant I had to drive all the way back to the store to exchange it. When I explained the issue to staff, there was no sense of empathy. I even asked if they could inspect the replacement to ensure all parts were included so I wouldn’t have to make a third trip. Their response: “You can open it and return it again if a part is missing.”
This is not the level of service or quality I expected for the cost of the item.
I do not recommend this product.
Why all the hate!?ZardashtThis bassinet is amazing! There is one step where I can see why it’s losing stars but if you have a drill, it’s super easy to expand the hole! This is affordable and looks so good compared to similar looking for 100s more.
Do not buy this bassinet!AmmarWarning to everyone planning to buy this bassinet be aware that I have been buying IKEA furniture for 30 years and I probably assembled hundreds of pieces but this is by far the worst, the instructions are useless and the parts do not fit, for the first time ever I’ve seen something from ikea where the screw holes are not drilled properly. I have checked the reviews before making a purchase and thought it might be by not so handy people so I took the risk, and ai was proven wrong. Will be returning this item ASAP
Terrible to build but a good product AnonymousThis was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever built (being 7 months pregnant might have had something to do with that). Some of the holes were too small for the hardware, but it’s sturdy and looks nice. I like that there are no plastic components and that the mesh is easy to see through and very breathable.
