Can I use new doors on my older kitchen cabinets?
Regarding the compatibility of old kitchen cabinets and new IKEA doors.
If your cabinets are from our SEKTION range, you can choose from a wide variety of finishes and easily update the doors or drawer fronts to suit your style. To explore all available options, please visit our website at IKEA.ca – Kitchen cabinet doors & drawer fronts
However, if your cabinets are from our previous AKURUM range, the current door models are not compatible and cannot be used as replacements.
Additionally, if your cabinets are from another supplier, we do not recommend installing IKEA doors on them, as they may not fit properly and doing so could void the door warranty.
Just a quick reminder: hinges are sold separately.
