Why does IKEA raise its prices?
At IKEA, we always strive to keep prices low, and we have been finding ways to get around some obstacles. However, due to these external circumstances, we may at times increase prices on some of our products.
We continue to put a lot of effort into keeping our prices as low and as stable as we possibly can. However, the continued impacts from transport and raw material constraints are having effects on industries all over the world, and IKEA is no exception.
We aim to always offer great value for money, and this has not changed. Unfortunately, prices for raw materials, transportation, and logistics are continuously increasing. Despite these circumstances, we will always honor a price quote for the period of time through which it is valid.
At IKEA we believe in creating a strong and relevant offer that is attractive and affordable to the many people. We aim to have the lowest price on the market for comparable products.
As a principle, online and offline prices are normally the same. At times our stores and online shop have offers and promotions on specific products that customers can take advantage of. Keep in mind that these offers are dependent upon purchase within that sales channel and according to terms and conditions.
