Base broken, leg unstableLanaWe have the Strandmond wing chair and foot stool.
The base around the front right leg of the chair has broken.
The leg now bends in and the chair is unusable.
The same has happened to the foot stool.
The whole base would need to be replaced to repair it.

Broken Chair and IKEA won’t help fix it.SusanMy family bought this chair for me for my birthday and sadly, the piece of wood that holds both back legs has broken where the left leg screws in. I have rung and spoken to a staff member, but was told I’d have to get a furniture repairer to fix it as they don’t do that. Very disappointed to not get any help from IKEA. What do I do next? The chair is way to heavy for me to get it into my car by myself.
Great chairTinaLove this chair and have had many compliments on them. Perfect high back, not super soft but great to sit on and easy to clean the covers. Put together on my own with no issues.

Comfiest chair!CharlieI really enjoy this chair! I’m 6ft so it’s not always possible to find chairs with enough back and head support, but the head and arm rests on this chair allow me to fall asleep comfortably. The matching foot rest is great too. I’m considering buying more in different colours for other rooms of the house. Very highly recommend.

Funny thing about this chair it was that I be sit in all the samples that they had on display but the grey was comfy and cosy … I know they were the same with the other ones but I don’t know it clicked on me so I bought it and I’m very happy with it

I adore this chairAmberI've wanted this chair for years, as it's one of the most affordable and accessible wing back chairs available, it's also got an elegant and classic design.
It's now my favourite place to sit in my flat and I curl up in it every evening. It's also super easy to put together!
I'm almost 6ft and there's plenty of head hight, my 6ft4 friend also finds it very comfortable to sit it and chains it during visits, as does my 5ft4 mother. So good for all sizes!
