painful lower back issuesJasonHad one of these but returned it, after a few hours is started causing me painful lower back issues as the lower section (up to the buttons) is very straight with no lumbar support. thankfully I was able to get a refund.
CosyAllenGreat cosy chair.
Glad I read the reviews before I bought the chair.
As good as it looksKateI’m thrilled with the chairs. They are sturdy, exquisite and comfy.
Base broken, leg unstableLanaWe have the Strandmond wing chair and foot stool.
The base around the front right leg of the chair has broken.
The leg now bends in and the chair is unusable.
The same has happened to the foot stool.
The whole base would need to be replaced to repair it.
Strandmon wing back chair dark greyHelenThe Strandmon wing back chair dark grey is a solid chair, comfortable a nice tilt back with a relaxed feel. Very comfortable, will purchase another.
Broken Chair and IKEA won’t help fix it.SusanMy family bought this chair for me for my birthday and sadly, the piece of wood that holds both back legs has broken where the left leg screws in. I have rung and spoken to a staff member, but was told I’d have to get a furniture repairer to fix it as they don’t do that. Very disappointed to not get any help from IKEA. What do I do next? The chair is way to heavy for me to get it into my car by myself.
Great chairTinaLove this chair and have had many compliments on them. Perfect high back, not super soft but great to sit on and easy to clean the covers. Put together on my own with no issues.
Best chair I’ve ever had! BeverleyHave had a few of these chairs over the years and never been disappointed. It’s without exception the most comfortable chair I’ve ever sat on and I have some major spinal issues. Please bring back the navy!
Great as a breastfeeding chair BelindaIt's been a busy lifesaver but also budget friendly for feeding bub. Good back and arm support
Comfiest chair!CharlieI really enjoy this chair! I’m 6ft so it’s not always possible to find chairs with enough back and head support, but the head and arm rests on this chair allow me to fall asleep comfortably. The matching foot rest is great too. I’m considering buying more in different colours for other rooms of the house. Very highly recommend.
ArmchairAnonymous reviewerLove it...so comfortable and looks amazing.
Worth looking up how to put together on YouTube because it was difficult and tempers were getting frayed...
Relaxing, maybe too relaxing zzzJohnEasy to assemble and sturdy with a good cloth finish.
I love it comfy asEvaI always wanted to buy this one but I wasn’t sure if it matches my colours. Funny thing about this chair it was that I be sit in all the samples that they had on display but the grey was comfy and cosy … I know they were the same with the other ones but I don’t know it clicked on me so I bought it and I’m very happy with it
Easy and quick assemble JamesI bought this for my ageing mum. It took less than 15 minutes to put together. She loves the wingback. Who wouldn’t?
