Too cumbersomeGlennThis was the only sofa bed that fitted into the room we had! It’s only used in dire emergencies and trying to set it up at 2am (partner has Parkinson’s and if they’re having a bad night, I move into the spare room to use this) is too cumbersome! I see that Ikea now have a new model and it appears to be a little ore user friendly.1

A Comfortable general purpose seat and bedLenThis piece is perfect to have in a study or lounge that provides a great seat to relax in and then transforms into a comfortable single bed really easily. The only assembly is the upholstery which goes on so easily. 5
DO NOT BUY THIS!ClaireProduct was great in the beginning but less than a year, the side springs started to protrude and led to back aches to my daughter who used it a few times as day bed, and she is NOT heavy at all. Tried to report that we had to put aside since August 2024, but no one cared and insisted it will be fixed. 10years warranty but no one listened.1

Comfortable VivienI am very happy with my purchase. I have the chair in my craft room and find it very comfortable. I haven’t used it as a bed so I cant comment on that. It was easy to put together and looks great.5

Great chair/extra bed KayeHave just bought this for our study as a chair firstly as it matches the rest of the kivik range we have and as a spare bed for visitors. It pulls out to a very good size single bed, I bought a mattress wool topper for protection and to hold everything together and it works like a charm. IKEA single fitted sheets, fit perfectly too. Quite comfortable as a spare bed. Am extremely happy with this purchase. Ideal for grandkids staying over. As a seat it's quite firm but from experience of our other kivik sofas, expect it to soften up as they did after a few months. I love all my kiviks!5

Single sofa bedJanetThe sofa bed is easy to convert from a lounge into a bed. The cushions on the sofa were not as comfortable as I had hoped, and had to buy a foam topper to aid in this area. It is very comfortable in the lounge position.4

Yes the covers are a firm, snug fit which is good, because nobody want saggy bits, however, it wasn't hard to do. When opened up to a bed it was surprisingly large and comfortable. A really good product at a fantastic price point.5
