KIVIK 1-seat sofa-bed is a snug and easy-to-place sofa during the day – and simple to make into a comfortable bed at night.
The sofa-bed has a compact design that allows you to fit both an extra seat and overnight guests in a small area.
The seat cushions made of pocket springs, high-resilience foam and polyester fibre mould to your body and provide firm support and comfortable softness, both when sitting up and lying down.
The seat and back cushions are used to create the bed, which means they are out of the way when the sofa is transformed into a sleeping space.

Great buy!PaulI’ve known about these chairs since 2013, and finally had the chance to purchase one last year along with the matching ottoman. It fit perfectly in our rental and complemented the rest of the furniture beautifully.
I was so happy with it that I bought a second one today to create a two-seater. I also slept on the original chair (now 12 months old) last night and was genuinely surprised by how comfortable it was. At 43, and after having back surgery two years ago, I woke up feeling great with no discomfort at all.
The only downside is that it’s quite heavy—but that really speaks to the quality and solid engineering behind it.
Just awfulSharonIt began with not even being able to open the box because where it was taped together was a symbol instructing not to open it there. Once we opened it by tearing the cardboard apart, the sections of the chair came apart and we were unable to get them together after an hour trying. We organised a return pickup, but after taking the day off work, nobody showed. Then we were told they would only come on Thursday requiring me to take more leave that I don’t have in order to be here again ALL DAY because no times are given.

Too cumbersomeGlennThis was the only sofa bed that fitted into the room we had! It’s only used in dire emergencies and trying to set it up at 2am (partner has Parkinson’s and if they’re having a bad night, I move into the spare room to use this) is too cumbersome! I see that Ikea now have a new model and it appears to be a little ore user friendly.

A Comfortable general purpose seat and bedLenThis piece is perfect to have in a study or lounge that provides a great seat to relax in and then transforms into a comfortable single bed really easily. The only assembly is the upholstery which goes on so easily.
DO NOT BUY THIS!ClaireProduct was great in the beginning but less than a year, the side springs started to protrude and led to back aches to my daughter who used it a few times as day bed, and she is NOT heavy at all. Tried to report that we had to put aside since August 2024, but no one cared and insisted it will be fixed. 10years warranty but no one listened.

Comfortable VivienI am very happy with my purchase. I have the chair in my craft room and find it very comfortable. I haven’t used it as a bed so I cant comment on that. It was easy to put together and looks great.
