Our 365-day return policy is simple – especially if you bring your receipt and arrange an Express return online beforehand.
Head to our Exchanges & returns when returning products to an IKEA store.
If you have your receipt or order number handy, follow the link below and enter your details to receive your Express return barcode. This will speed up the process when you visit the store.

- Bring proof of purchase.
- Express Returns are only available to be processed in our IKEA stores

Return via store
Returning in-store? Use our Express return service for a faster experience. Bring your receipt or order number and head to Exchanges & returns. You’ll receive a barcode online to speed things up. This applies to most items returned within 365 days.
Return via collection
Need to return a large item? We can arrange collection through a trusted third party. A fee applies and is deducted from your refund unless the item is faulty or incorrect. This service isn’t available in all areas. Contact us with your order number to check availability and get started.
Return via parcel
Can’t make it to a store? You can return small items under 22 kg to a NSW depot for $9.99 (deducted from your refund). The parcel must be unused, undamaged, and under 120 cm total in size (L+W+H). Items must be from the same order and in one box. Refunds are processed within 14 days of return.
