Return via parcel - Checklist

At IKEA, it’s OK to change your mind, as long as the product is in unused and re-saleable condition.

To help ensure your return is accepted and processed smoothly, please check that it meets the following criteria.

1. Product size and weight

  • Total parcel weight must be under 22 kg, and its dimensions (L + W + H combined) must not be more than 120 cm. Example: 50 cm × 40 cm × 30 cm will be accepted (total = 120 cm).
  • Parcels exceeding these limits will be rejected at drop-off points. 

2. Packaging requirements

  • Please ensure your packaging protects the item during transport – use bubble wrap or padding where needed.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging, or if unavailable, in a cardboard box or padded envelope to ensure protection during transit.
  • Loose items (e.g. unboxed cushions) will not be accepted.
  • Items damaged due to insufficient packaging may not be eligible for a refund.

3. Product condition

  • Items must be returned in an acceptable condition and free from damage.
  • Broken or damaged products will be rejected or only partially refunded.
  • If your product arrived damaged, please submit a claim through your order history.
