What is a filler piece and do I need one?
A filler piece fills the space between the cabinet and the wall and is cut from a cover panel.
Filler pieces are necessary because you can't install a cabinet right up close to the wall. If you don't mount a filler piece, there's a risk that you won't be able to open your cabinet door or drawers fully.
Filler pieces are also used as needed depending on the space you have. You can discuss this with your kitchen specialist when you have your free planning or purchase appointment with us. To book an appointment, see our Planning and Consultation page.
