What is Småland play area?
Småland is IKEA’s free, supervised play area for children aged 3 – 8 years old, located at the store entrance providing up to 30 minutes of supervised play, subject to availability. Småland will be open and supervised at IKEA Tempe from Saturday 15 August 2026. IKEA Perth, Richmond, and Springvale Småland are open but are not supervised.

Småland is also available in Perth, Richmond and Springvale. At these locations, Småland is not staffed. It is a space where parents can supervise their children and enjoy family time together.
What is Småland?
Småland is a free, supervised play area located at the store entrance, providing 30 minutes of supervised play, with IKEA Family members receiving an additional 30 minutes. Children must be aged 3 - 8 years old, fully potty-trained, and able to use the toilet independently without assistance. An enrolment form is required to be completed for each visit.
