Is Lighting from IKEA compliant with local safety regulations?
Product safety is a top priority at IKEA and we can assure you that our products comply with local regulations.
For Australian lighting articles this can be evidenced by the use of the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) on the product's compliance label. This can usually be found underneath or on the back of the lamp/light.
The RCM symbol is a tick inside a circle inside of a triangle. Your builder or electrician should recognize this. The RCM is required for all lighting equipment as part of the EESS (Electrical equipment safety system).
