I received a free voucher email/SMS from IKEA. Is this a scam?

Our promotions will often run through IKEA Family. Please do not click any links before checking the sender of the email is from IKEA. If you are unsure, reach out to us for assistance.

Always check the sender if the email is from IKEA. You will only receive emails from us if you are opted into receiving marketing communications as an IKEA Family or IKEA for Business member (including the Business Network). Many of our promotions can be found on our website IKEA.com.au. If you are unsure whether the email was sent from us, you can always reach out to us for assistance. 

If you have fallen victim to a scam please report it to Scamwatch which is run by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). It provides information to consumers and small businesses about how to recognise, avoid and report scams.

If you feel you have been the victim of a cybercrime then please report it to ACORN (The Australian Cybercrime Online Reporting Network) which is a national policing initiative of the Commonwealth, State and Territory governments. It is a national online system that allows the public to securely report instances of cybercrime. It will also provide advice to help people recognise and avoid common types of cybercrime.
