How do I shop in store using the IKEA App Checkout?

With the IKEA app, you can now scan your purchases as you shop, then pay at the marked Mobile check-outs on the way out. So long, checkout lines!

Skip the line and save time

With IKEA App Checkout, you can use your smartphone to scan products in store as you browse. Once you reach the checkout you can skip the line by simply scanning the barcode on your IKEA App to pay and go. 

You can enable IKEA App Checkout two ways.

Scan the QR code at the store entrance

  1. Scan the IKEA App checkout QR code at the store entrance. This QR code will automatically identify the store you are in.
  2. Start scanning the barcode of items in store as you place them in your bag or trolley.
  3. Once you are ready to checkout, look for the dedicated App checkout register.
  4. Select that you are finished on the app, which will present you with a QR code you can scan at the register. Then you can pay and go! No need to wait in line.

Open the IKEA app on your mobile before you start shopping

  1. Download the IKEA app.
  2. Open the app directly on your mobile and sign into your IKEA Family account. 
  3. Go to your profile and select "Scan items in-store" and select your store.
  4. Start scanning the barcode of items in store as you place them in your bag or trolley.
  5. Once you are ready to checkout, look for the dedicated App checkout register.
  6. Select that you are finished on the app, which will present you with a QR code you can scan at the register. Then you can pay and go! No need to wait in line.
