What are charcoal filters?

Charcoal filters are used in extractor hoods to help absorb the smell when air is circulated.

Charcoal filters help absorb the cooking smells when the air is circulated. They should be washed every 2-3 months and are dishwasher safe, lasting for up to 3 years with proper care.

These are fitted inside extractor hoods. Vents must be removed before fitting.

NYTTIG tube 125mm and 150mm are not available in the IKEA AU range. Please purchase this from your local hardware store. The diameter required will be shown in your assembly instructions.
