Ample storage space is hidden neatly under the bed in 4 large drawers. Perfect for storing duvets, pillows and bed linen.
The storage boxes are easy to roll out and in thanks to the castors on the base.
MALM bed storage boxes work perfectly with MALM bed frame. They fit neatly into the space under the bed and will be flush against sides.
You can sit up comfortably in bed thanks to the high headboard; just prop some pillows behind your back and you will have a comfortable place to read or watch TV.
SKORVA midbeam is included in the price but packaged separately. It is required for the stability of the bed frame and to keep the mattress in place.

It sounds like a creaky boatTaylorThis is a horrendous bed frame. We bought the malm in a queen size 6 years ago and it was wonderful. We purchased another Malm in a king, and they have changed their wooden slate system. The Luroy slats make the bed creak horribly when you sit, roll, or otherwise adjust on your bed. Our brand new mattress sags in the middle from the luroy slats not laying flat (they have an upwards curve). And IKEA’s recommendation to sprinkle talc between the slats and the metal supports? SHAME on you IKEA. The drop in quality is atrocious and we will not be making another big IKEA purchase again. This has been so disappointing and we will be making a return.

Squeaky and loudSamVery disappointed with my Ikea Malm 4 drawer bed. The bed creaks and groans constantly while rolling over or getting into bed. I’ve re assembled it, and also put felt and cardboard in between some of the pieces inside to prevent rubbing, but nothing lasts. The bed is cheap and light and the boards and slats shift and rub together, causing constant noise. Knowing this, I would have went with something more sturdy and heavy.
sounds squeaky all the timeHwanjongI am confident that I assembled it so properly following the instruction. When it's in use, it makes squeaky sounds. Not talking about the rodeo on it but even with very little movement on it like turning your body from one side to the other side. Giving me very uncomfortable experience while using it. Will consider something sturdy and heavy one for the next time purchase.
Has held up for yearsJanetI just have to add my comment that our King Malm has lasted for years. No problems at all and I still love the way it looks. The storage is so useful. For the drawers near the bed stand, I put off season quilts and bedding that I don't need daily. I use the accessible drawers all the time for sheets and so on. Love it.
Drawers fell apartAlexisThe bed looks nice however my drawers totally fell apart. The front of the drawers fell off and because of quality of wood, I can’t fix. When reaching out to customer service I was told that’s “normal aging”. So unhappy
Storage drawers design not practical RebekahThe look and quality is great so far, we’ve had ours for about 9 months. Isn’t creaky or noisy like some of the other reviews stated. Was simple enough to put together. The drawers are holding up well, but the design with them installed isn’t practical unless you either don’t have nightstands or want to mount some to the wall because the top two drawers go all the way to the top of the bed frame and are blocked by the nightstands, meaning you have to move the nightstands anytime you want to get into the top drawers or just not use the them at all. Pretty inconvenient and faulty design because of that.

Storage drawersKylaI really loved this bed frame when I first got it, as it had 4 extra storage drawers, however the drawers are literally falling apart and breaking. When gently pulling the drawers out the front piece falls off. It’s super disappointing as I’ve only had this bed for a couple months and it’s already falling apart ? Considering it’s a $700 bed it’s very cheaply made. I’m hoping there is some type of warranty for this
