The story behind POÄNG
"With the POÄNG armchair I wanted to combine Scandinavian and Japanese furniture traditions while making the most of layer-glued wood. The springy frame adds comfort. First created in 1972 as POEM, I hoped the design would feel timeless – and today it feels like a true classic."
