Reviews
I recommend it to you 100%DraganI was enjoying POÄNG Armchairs (with buffalo cushions) whilst living in Sweden (7 years), and in Australia (1998-2006). I bought the above model in 2025. It is very conformable, modern, easy to move around when needed, and overall affordable choice, difficult to match by any other manufacturer.
Good but can be betterYipingEnough padding for the armchair but it will be better if the cover can be removed for washing.
CushionChrisOk fits well but a bit thin in the cushioning
Nice chair cushionHelenHappy with this as it replaced an old bright red cushion, on a Poang chair that I received second hand. The colour is perfect for my decor, though the colour swatch on the plastic bag it comes in is nothing like the colour it is, which worked out good for me, I was expected a more brown beige.
A cushion caught my eyes the moment I saw it！AngelaI knew it‘ll be the one I’ve been looking for so long. It perfectly fit my sofa bed also bought from IKEA！We all love it so much！Thank you🌹
arm chair cushionJoannevery commutable. easy to move

Nice Upgrade.ShaunWe had the original cushion for a chair and bought this one for an upgrade. Alot more padding and therefore , more comfortable. Looks better too.
ExcellentKateVery comfortable, good quality,
It is goodEmmaThe cushion is soft like a cushion and it works like I expected but the Velcro doesn’t last forever
Poang cushionsAnonymous reviewerBrought these to replace previous blue thick poang cushions as we did not want to spend too much in replacing them but wished we had stuck to the old type. They are too thin and push through the chair supports and makes it very uncomfortable to sit on especially the back support. But they did look a lot more modern.
Practical and cheapAdrienneReplaced old cushion on chair in teens Gaming room, didn’t want to spend a lot of money but wanted it to look tidy. Fitted my criteria perfectly, plus it’s quite comfy.
Poang seat coverThaiThe cushion is firm & the fabric cover is well made just like the original.
Perfect IreneExcellent service.
ComfortableNikolaiComfortable. Fits perfect.
Not as thick as SomeDawnWe replaced the cushions on our Poang chair, which we purchased 14 years ago. They were still in good condition but we wanted a colour change. And there are many colours to choose from, which is great. Sadly the cushion depth in the new cushions was much less than the original, but you have to buy the whole top seating instead of just replacement covers. I would have preferred to keep the foam inserts & just replace the covers.
No Black Leather?EvieWe have one light cream Poang which we wanted to change to black leather to match another Poang we have. We were very disappointed to find that IKEA no longer sell black leather Poangs so this cover was the best alternative. It’s a nice cover - good finish and comfort.
Great chair padJacquiNice neutral colour and comfortable in a minimalist kind of way. I like that you can replace the chair pads with a different style/colour.
Light weight comfortDuncanI like the design and the comfort. Even with the minimal seat cushion the chair is very comfortable.
Fantastic!KarienFantastic!
