Bright flexible lightingJoyceThis light strip fills the space I have it in with a very bright and helpful light. The only issue is that I had to move it and it doesn't stick as well the second time and I purchased more sticky tabs from an office supply store. But I had expected that it would be like that--especially for the very reasonable price.5
good for the priceAllisonthis lit up my 4ft display shelf exactly how I wanted, with a nice soft brightness that diffuses well. it was easy enough to install, although the shortness of the power cable did cause a minor issue.
my biggest complaint is that after just three months, it's started flickering occasionally. I only turn it on after dark so I expected it would work perfectly for a very long time, but it's looking like that won't be the case. for the price, though... I suppose I would still buy another to replace it when the time comes. maybe.3
Lifesaver and perfect for rentalKathleenWe've lived in a couple different rented apartments the last few years as we transition to a different geographic area. The kitchens have mostly been "oooo, look how cool" from across the room, but builder-grade meh up close. Of course there was no good under-cabinet lighting. Two of these strips (one on each side of the stove), and suddenly, the whole kitchen seemed inviting and tasteful. No, they're not perfect; you can see the strip a bit where it crosses from one cabinet to the next, but the warmth of the light and the moderate brightness makes a world a difference. A third strip was quickly affixed to the back of our TV and plugged in to one of the USB ports, and the place feels more like home. I've never had an IKEA product that was this easy to install before, either.5
BRIGHT and not warmCaseyThese are super bright, and, sadly not a "warm" white light. I'm searching for a cellophane slip to try to make the color bearable.2
Useful Under-Desk LightingAnonymousI have a stand-sit desk with a power strip under my desk. I installed this light strip under my desktop and taped the on/off toggle switch to the leg of my desk. I plugged the USB-A end into the front of a backup power supply which works great. At night I toggle the light strip on. It adds ambient lighting as well as acting as a nightlight if needed. The light strip adhesive is holding nicely to the bottom of my bamboo desktop and the warm white light is very pleasant - not too bright. I'd recommend this light strip for under cabinets in the kitchen or bathroom, in a bedroom, or as I've used it here. You could also use it in a vehicle, RV, or boat. Or even when you're camping with a battery pack. It's simple. Works well. Looks good. Buying more and giving as gifts.5
Like the lightsAlexEasy to prepare and assemble for my displays5
Very nice!JazlynThe adhesive on the lights has stuck for a few months now, works well as in-closet lighting. However, the portion that connects the lighting strip to the wire/switch can be loose at times, so I just use some tape to keep it stuck.5
For the price...RobertHard to complain for the price, simple and work fine paired with Ikea $2.99 USB outlet plug. BUT - all of the double sided tape and little plastic clips included are utterly useless. You will need to use some strong double-sided-tape or staple these in place.4
Reasonably price but obsoleteMattyThese strips are based on the simplest, cheapest LED technology available - basically a 12-volt non-dimmable LED lightbulb that has been stretched into a light strip. There is also an unusually low number of LEDs per foot/meter so this strip is dim, and has a lot of hot-spots instead of providing an even glow. Most of the money you spend is actually for the power cord, not the light strip, so keep that in mind.
It is a shame that this is the only option for strip lights that IKEA is selling now that they have discontinued the older multicolor.2
Versatile Led lightsAnthonyGreat for accent or under counter lights5
It's a simple lightHoIts works, I need a longer strip4
Vattensten LED light strip AdrienneI was surprised to see such a small package for this light. I knew it was 39" long but the width of this light is only 1/4" and in the photos it appeared to be like 3/4" wide and much thicker. I could not believe it fits in the palm of my hand when it is rolled up. Another surprise is that I thought this was a rechargeable light so it did not need to be plugged in all the time. This only works if you have it plugged to the electricity and it has a switch for on and off. Now I have to figure out where to use this light since it is not doable in the basement where I do not have an outlet. If you have an outlet near by then, you got a lots of possibilities. You can put around a framed photo/art piece. I am very dissapointed that my original plan did not work out. Also, once you stick this to the wall or the frame you cannot take it off. The light is very cute indeed. But, the photos online and description is very deciving.

Just what I neededElizabethI bought this to light up the sink area under the cabinet. It makes the area brighter and helps me see better while washing the dishes. It should be noted that it’s not a white light (5000k) but an orange yellowish (2000k-3500k?) light. After seeing mine, my sister was also interested in buying it to light up the inside of her closet.5
Just what was needed to finish the roomChristinePut in daughters room and she loves it! As do I. No need to think too long go ahead and buy it. It’s a short cord though so if you want it longer I’m guessing you gotta buy more to connect to it. Work for our needs as is.5

No more boring napkins‼️GayleI enjoy having napkins in my kitchen that match my mood, tablescape or the surrounding decor and these always do the trick. I LOOOVVVE the vibrant color‼️5
Lights a dark cabinetLawrenceInstalled in a outdoor bbq cabinet. Lights are powered with a usb battery connection which provides hours of light at night. The p87ower switch of the unit minimizes loss of power. Friends comment positively about the light.5
