Vanity mirrors with lights

Our lighted LED mirrors make shaving, applying makeup, washing your face and all those tricky flossing maneuvers much easier. Both decorative and practical, a modern vanity mirror with lights is easy to install, with long-life LED mirror lights that consume up to 85% less energy and can last up to 20x longer than traditional incandescent bulbs.

Update your bathroom with a vanity mirror with lights

For all the ways we might update our bathroom given the time and budget, one complaint we’ve never heard is that a bathroom has too much light. Even if you’re fortunate enough to have ample natural light in your bathroom, additional sources like a vanity mirror with lights will surely get their fair share of usage.

The soft, yet crisp illumination from the integrated LED light source is similar to natural light, making it well-suited to makeup application. It casts illumination evenly, leaving no shadows on your face as it highlights contours that can hide in dim lighting.

Adding a vanity mirror with lights in a room the whole family uses multiple times a day helps make your bathroom more functional at all hours for all bathroom tasks. An LED mirror helps you see all the fine details as you apply makeup or moisturizer, shave or pluck, comb your hair or do whatever you have to do while getting ready for the day.

Light mirror styles

IKEA offers two types of LED mirrors: mirrors with integrated lighting tracing their edges, and cabinets with built-in lighting.

  • You can add a light mirror over a makeup table in your bathroom or next to the sink if you share a busy bathroom with a roommate or spouse.
  • If storage space is a must, a medicine cabinet with integrated lighting is just what the doctor ordered!

Whichever type of light mirror you choose will offer LED lighting that spreads a soft, diffused light that is easy to wake up to, giving you a pleasant start in the morning.

Installing LED mirrors

Both types of our lighted mirrors require a hardwired installation. Mirrors with integrated lighting can be fastened directly to your wall, with different wall materials requiring different types of fasteners. Be sure to use fasteners suitable for the walls in your home.

We recommend working with an authorized electrician for consultation and installation. All IKEA lighted mirrors are tested and approved for bathroom use.
