Keeps breakingCaitlinI've spent more on repairs on this dresser than what it cost. I'm so frustrated about it because I treat it well, but the railings snap- WHY would you make these plastic?! I've tried replacements, but nothing fits because of how the dresser is designed. Truly a hopeless cause.1

I’m not sure how this qualifies as furniture. As with most IKEA items, use diligence when purchasing. This item is not worth an ounce of your time or energy. Avoid at all costs.1

Getting cheap for no good reasonCaseyThis dresser has plastic drawers mounts that painful slide along the pre-cut wooden drawers. They open poorly, they open wobbly, and they only thing keeping the drawers in tiny pieces of plastic on each side. Really ikea—how much more would this have been to just include metal drawer mounts? HorribleCandyIf I could give this item 0 stars I would. First of all it looks like it was made for a doll house, the smell is so strong I had to air out my son’s room for two days before I got rid of it. Return? Yes like is easy to return a big box full of wood or whatever material this is. Ikea doesn’t offer much when it comes to their defective item but returns. You get stuck with their experiments figuring out how to get rid of them. Wasted $100+ on this garbage. 1
It’s Cheap and Effective GemeraIt took me 3 hours to build the dresser and it was due to user error. There was 1 whole that was not predrilled. If you don’t have an auto drill you will struggle. It’s nice and will get the job done til I get a long term one. It will do great in a guest room or short term storage option. Drawers pull out effectively and is pretty sturdy so far. I can see how it can be reviewed with 3 stars but my goodness it’s $99 for a 6 drawer dresser?!? You get what you pay for. lol love the cost effective option!! 5
Its great if you like to DIYRikkaI think this is an okay product from IKEA. It was a little more challenging to build but was able to follow a video on YouTube. Overall, it is a small dresser but it works fine for my needs and is a great product for my DIY projects. 3
Buy the Storklinta insteadJosephI bought one of these and it was fine, except that it was very light, the sliders for the drawer were plastic, and it smelled very strongly of pine sap. You also had to finish/stain it, which was just a lot of work. By comparison, the Storklinta was several times the weight, better finished, had metal hardware, and incredibly well designed and put together. One felt like desperation college dorm on no budget and the other was finished and a ready to go piece for a proper home. Absolutely worth the extra money to get the Storklinta instead of this flimsy thing.1
Disappointing JessicaWe’ve had these for less than 1 year. They have plastic slides for the drawer and just about every one has broken and we can non longer slide the drawers in or out. Not only are the slides cheap plastic. Some of the drawers were too narrow to fit into the slides so the just fall down. 1

"It means that the chest of drawers must be anchored to a wall to be able to open more than one drawer at a time, which reduces the risk of tipping, but doesn’t entirely remove it. By anchoring the chest of drawers to the wall, you unlock the drawers and can open them all at once," says Björn Andreasson from the development team. Another way we increase stability is to integrate it into the design. "With GREÅKER cabinet with drawers, for example, we´ve developed hinges that stop the doors at a 115-degree angle and keep them there to reduce the risk of tipping," says product developer Dagmara Pawlus.
