STOREMOLLA chest of drawers is made to be used and lasts for a long time. The drawers are made of robust solid pine and run on hidden runners with an integrated soft-closing mechanism.
The finish has warm, rich colors that you can easily match with other furniture. The solid wood’s natural expression is visible through the stain, which also helps to hide small marks from everyday life.
All drawers have cast-iron knobs in a timeless design that goes well with solid wood.
Each drawer bottom is covered in a striped paper foil which creates a smooth surface for delicate clothes and adds a Scandinavian touch.

Beautiful and sturdy. Too bad the knobs keep falling off. Dawn2 of the knobs keep falling out and off. It makes it very hard to open. I feel like I have a crappy dresser now. I can’t find a way to order spare parts/knobs for it.
Color has spots not fully sanded downMariaWe received one of the side pieces broken and they send us a new one, then 2 pieces ended up breaking during the building of the drawers. Wasnt in love with the color i shouldve gone with the darker brown.
A part broke after assembly, arrived chipped, hate the gapsMelanieAssembly went well (took a while, but instructions clear). Many of the pieces are particle board rather than wood, but the wood parts are nice. It looks good and the drawers slide well. However, the same day we assembled it a plastic locking piece holding a drawer together cracked and fell inside the chest when a drawer was closed. Fortunately it still works and seems sturdy, but it was upsetting. Our top piece came with a splintery chip in the front edge that we needed to repair/sand/color. The final annoyance was that the top drawer has a wide gap from the top edge, leaving that drawer really open to dust, moths, etc. The safety brackets holes at the back are also quite large, so the top drawer is really open. Had we noticed we could see through it front to back, we would not probably have picked this model.

Smells but it's solid wood!KatieI've built a lot of IKEA furniture and this is one of the more interesting builds -- quite fun. It's sturdy due to the internal supports. Drawers open just wide enough to see all the items. A disappointing feature: the bottom of drawer is particleboard and held up by grooved out slots in the 4 pine boards and a metal big staple of sorts to hold the board in place. IKEA, please go back to the designs where there's a metal support that runs from the front of the drawer to the back (or at across depending on the width of the drawer). Not sure how the board will hold up if have a lot of heavy clothes (compared to a 2013 Brimnes with the aforementioned metal supports under the drawers). Also the wood smells a bit so I aired it out for a few weeks before the smell was completely gone (wood, treated wood smell).

Great for a small bedroomPamelaI had purchased this to fit into a small bedroom for guests to use. It’s perfect and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I’ve only had it for a few months but seems to be solid material. Good safety feature is, only one drawer can be open at a time. The other two are locked in.
You won’t be disappointed. It’s also a nice looking pc. of furniture. I had also bought the 5-drawer chest in the same color. Very nice.

Pretty goodNealI just finished building it. Everything seems decent enough. Standard Ikea construction. Took a couple hours by myself. I did take a lunch break half way through so I can't be too exact. I found it to be not too heavy. I'm not sure why people consider it so. Obviously don't move it with drawers installed, maybe that's why? So anyways it seems pretty good, matches my other Ikea furniture. I'm happy with it.

Easy to assemble and sturdy!KrystaAt 27 weeks pregnant I was able to assemble this mostly myself with just some assistance with lift, because it is heavy! Overall, pleased with the quality and the look. We added a changing table topper which fits great!
