The assembly was also very time consuming with the poorly written/illustrated instructions. After 2 hours of work dresser is built but hardly functional. Buy something else from ikea, not this.
Looks good, feels solidSteveAfter reading reviews I almost didn't get this since there were a lot of reviews about the poor quality of the materials and about the difficulty in putting it together. I may have just been lucky but none of my pieces were damaged. I also had no problems assembling it by myself. I'm not really sure why so many people seemed to have difficulty building it. The individual pieces are not labeled but the drawings in the instructions are detailed enough that you can figure it out easily by looking at the instructions.
Overall it looks pretty good and feels solid. Obviously, like with most of Ikea's furniture, it is made of particle board so I don't expect it to last generations. And also it shouldn't get wet. But that should be expected with most furniture from Ikea.
My main gripe with this piece is the drawers do not pull out very far. But overall I recommend this piece.

Very pleased with dresser purchaseStephenDelivery was excellent, the unit was relatively easy to assemble, finished dresser is very sturdy and drawers work very smoothly. Some parts are quite heavy and having a helper is definitely recommended.

Missing partsHarsimranI’m extremely disappointed with my IKEA order because the bottom-left drawer is missing several required pieces—one white piece and multiple black pieces needed to complete the drawer. I am 36 weeks pregnant today and currently nesting, so assembling this table without any help was already physically difficult and time-consuming. I specifically ordered online to avoid a 26+ mile trip to the IKEA store while pregnant.
Unfortunately, I’m now completely stuck on the final drawer because the parts were simply not included. This was not a case of misplacing a tool or piece—the room was completely empty while I was assembling it. IKEA should be making sure all necessary parts are included, especially when customers are already spending significant time assembling furniture.
This has been extremely frustrating and has caused unnecessary stress and wasted time.

Disappointed 1st time purchaseLashawnI purchased this dresser for my daughter while she’s away for the summer. I meticulously put the dresser together with my oldest child. We ensured each piece was connected and watched video to ensure proper assembly. After finishing all of the drawers, I discarded or the boxed and prepared to placed the drawers. The drawers will not go inside the unit, despite many attempts. I’ve been trying for one week and the drawers still will not go in the dresser. I called customer service, he was as helpful as possible but after additional attempts the drawers still will not go in the unit.
My excitement is gone, I’m so sad and disappointed at this outcome. I hope they really come get the dresser and replace the unit without the boxes. I’m so disappointed 😢 but I used the instructions and watched the video but the drawers are still not functioning. Omg I’m so disappointed 😩
Who expects their first purchase to be a non functional unit. I’ve never encountered this before. I’m so disappointed…
