Our safety feature Anchor and unlock enhances the safety of your chest of drawers by significantly reducing, but not completely eliminating, the tip-over risk.
The safety feature means that the chest of drawers must be anchored to the wall in order to open more than two drawers at a time, which creates a safer environment at home.
By anchoring the chest of drawer to the wall, you unlock the safety feature and can open all the drawers simultaneously when needed.

Sleek, Modern, and SmoothAyushThe dresser looks beautiful placed in my bedroom, and I appreciate the minimalist aesthetic. Assembly was fun (pay very close attention though) and the final build is rock solid! I’ve been using it for 6 months now and the drawers are still smooth and it feels brand new!
Overall satisfactionAngelaThe dresser is self is nice. The skeleton is sturdy enough. The assembly did take a while but I also couldn't find the manual right away. The box had it hidden away along with the brackets. The drawers were tricky. The side panels required some hammering to allow room for the backboards. The paint job is cheap so that concerns me. Please follow the booklet to a T. Its so important..
For some reason tho. Some of my draws stick out.
Great dresserLauraIt is sturdy, with good room for all type of clothing, from sweaters to t-shirts and jeans. I will buy another for my guestroom.
After 2 years, it's garbage :( worst Ikea piece I've ownedKellyWe buy so much from Ikea. Many many pieces for the past 20 years. This one was a big waste of money. I took a risk because I liked the look. I've owned it 2 years and after the first year I started noticing quarter-sized imperfections in the top. Like the material is warping on the surface. It looks and feels terrible compared to all the other units we've owned: Billy, Pax, Besta (my fave!). Do not waste your money on this. You will regret it.
Additionally, it just doesn't hold much. The Skubb's don't fit it and the drawer heights are too tall so while it's a sizeable unit, I seem to fit much more in our Malms and Bestas than I do this one.

Good dresserAishaThe assembly took about 3 hours…completed by myself. Make sure to lay all pieces out and review the instructions a couple of times. Pay attention to the images. My only complaint is the stews for the drawer rails are cheap and split too easily. Luckily I had other short flat top screws on hand and was able to use better screws to ensure they were flush when screwing in the drawer rails, which is necessary if you want the drawers to go in and out smoothly!!

Assembly is a nightmareMalcolmI have put many IKEA products together and this one is horrible. The use to have plus to hold together for strengrh this future does not have any besides the ones built into boards. Bad idea. If you make a mistake you will damage the furniture.

HARDAngieUnless you have someone professional to put this up for you or pay for the extra 80 bucks for it to be already made.. don’t get this if you struggle with setting up furniture this thing was difficult to do and the book that was a “tutorial” was useless at some points, no words just pictures with no specific context and you gotta figure it yourself and oh my gosh if you mess up because the book isn’t really explaining then have fun trying to get stuff out to do it the right way. Honestly I recommend just buying from somewhere else than here I wish I would of just brought somewhere else

Such a nice dresserCarlyI love this dresser! It's so functional and looks very sleek. It took me about 3.5 hours to put together by myself. Yes, it was tedious, but it's a lot of little parts. I recommend making sure you really take your time on the first few steps because it can go very wrong if you don't. Make sure you are looking at every detail of the pictures (where the little dots are on the pieces of wood, which way things are facing, etc.)

Looks ok, very hard to put togetherMarianneIt was very hard to put together - IKEA I suggest labelling all pieces with a number or letter so they are easy to identify. There were pieces scattered all over my tiny apartment. Took a good part of a day to put together. Had some trouble getting some pieces to fit properly. Does the job but some drawers are difficult to open. Looks ok in the room. Reasonable price point.
Awful Assembly MelissaThis dresser is the most convoluted piece of furniture to put together. And the worst part is if you mess up one part of assembly, you physically cannot disassemble it without breaking it. We accidentally put the middle piece in upside down, and broke the entire dresser trying to get the bottom off to flip it.
I don’t know why you’d make something that can’t be disassembled without breaking it.
I’ve never had such a hard time putting together a piece of furniture. This was a waste of money as it’s completely unusable now. I’ve never been so dissatisfied with a product before.
Not to mention the safety features on this product add to the complications of it. If zero stars were an option that’s what this would get.

too many featuresLeahthe amount of safety features put into this dresser make it borderline unusable. you can only have one drawer open at a time, plus there are breaks that stop the drawer from coming out all the way, but you have to slam then otherwise they wont close. great if you’re putting it in an area that young kids can access it, but if just using it as an adult as a dresser the safety features are obscene
Perfect for kids roomLorenzoLove the extra safety feature that locks out the other drawers in each row if one is open(make sure you rock the little black tab one by one when installing drawers so they lock in) unless your securing the safety bracket to the wall to help prevent tip overs.
Only con is wish it came in colors other than just white D:
