STOREMOLLA chest of drawers is made to be used and lasts for a long time. The drawers are made of robust solid pine and run on hidden runners with an integrated soft-closing mechanism.
The finish has warm, rich colors that you can easily match with other furniture. The solid wood’s natural expression is visible through the stain, which also helps to hide small marks from everyday life.
All drawers have cast-iron knobs in a timeless design that goes well with solid wood.
Each drawer bottom is covered in a striped paper foil which creates a smooth surface for delicate clothes and adds a Scandinavian touch.

Terrible customer serviceDerekI have been a loyal ikea customer for over a decade and this dresser and customer service experience have made me never want to shop ikea again. I have had one previous poor experience with ikea but this one was extremely bad. I ordered this dresser and struggled for a few hours to assemble it when i realized that one of the parts had a clear manufacturing defect that prevented the dresser from being usable. I attempted to get on the phone with a representative to order a replacement part and was placed on hold for over an hour. I finally got through and was told that the part would be delivered. It has been 3 weeks since I received the dresser and it is still sitting unassembled in my home taking up space. The part has still not arrived and today when I contacted service again for the 3rd time, they said the part could not be found and they are continuing to escalate the case.

We watched a YouTube video tutorial amd built it in about an hour. Mounting it to the wall was very easy! Very beautiful piece that completely elevates our room
Love this!AmyThis Storemolla dresser is gorgeous. The color is perfect( as shown in picture). Easy to assemble but did take some time. I assembled myself but would have been helpful with another person to assist with lifting up. Very satisfied with purchase.
Pretty and functionalJackieI purchased this because of the rounded corners. I hired someone from IKEA to put it together. It was done quickly and thoroughly. I absolutely love this dresser! The color looks really good.

Nice DresserKellyWe love the dresser for the most part. The only thing we don't like is the finish, especially on the top of the dresser. It has a very rough texture. If you're not going to offer a smooth finish then you should offer a piece of glass to go on top like so many of your other dressers have.

Beautiful, solid pieceKayle-AnnAs with all the other pieces in this collection, this one is simple, solid, and exceptionally sturdy (and quite heavy too!). I love the look and colour of the wood. It has a clean, down-to-earth design that doesn't feel overly complicated. The edges are smoothly rounded, and the finish has a pleasant, finely sanded feel.
My only suggestion for improvement is the same as I mentioned in my review of the nightstand and the other pieces in the collection with drawers. It's certainly not a deal breaker, just a small detail for the engineering team to consider. Overall, another excellent piece.

Sturdy well designed dresserJimThis dresser is predominantly made of real wood which is what we were looking for. It did take us about 3 hours to put together, the assembly was pretty clear and as others have mentioned there is a YouTube video if the paper directions are not 100% clear. So far everything is working well and we really like the soft close drawers. If you want to open more than one drawer per side, the wall attachment will allow you to do that. Drawers feel pretty sturdy and we are able to access all clothes placed in the drawers, lots of space for your items since it is quite a large dresser. We think it looks very nice and are pleased with our purchase. We only dropped the one star for the fact that the cam bolts do not screw into the hard wood, so while the cam locks hold the bolts, it is only the wooden dowels really holding the outside pieces on, so maybe a little glue would have been advisable. The smell is minor, like freshly cut wood, if sensitive you can air the drawers out first.

Unusable after <2 yearsAlexisI think over (a brief) time, opening the drawers makes the hardware expand, which widens the holes until the screws fall out and cannot be put back in. 3 drawer fronts have completely fallen off, rendering the drawers entirely unusable. Tried to get replacement parts and IKEA cannot provide them. Like others have said, the safety mechanisms also prevent me opening up the other drawers now. Total waste of money, unfortunately! Will be going in the garbage. Would not recommend.
Bought TwoBrocHave had two of these now for 9 months, they’re great! I also bought the skinny tall one and will be buying the smaller dresser option soon. I recommend.
Building takes some time but follow the instructions and it will all work great. You got this!
Disappointing QualityNicoleFor one of the more expensive dressers, the paint quality is very poor. Looks as if it missed a coating of paint.
SolidShefaliGreat solid pine construction for the drawers, top, and sides. Brown stain looks great, and it’s heavy. Some Inner material on the sides is particle board but that’s never visible
