Great multi-purpose table with small drawersChrisWe needed a desk for a small space. By keeping the one side folded down, we're able to fit this piece of furniture into that space. While we can only access one side of drawers (the back 3 are up against the wall), this works for us. Easy IKEA instructions to put it all together.

It is perfect for my needs in my sewing room. One thing that I will add to the table are wheels so that I can move it when needed. I needed a cutting table that would fit. This table is perfect and the drawers add to it’s purpose SusanIKEA is the best retailer to shop. They are very helpful in the stores and on the phone. They stand by their products. I have purchased items from furniture to house plants. I have always been satisfied with my purchase. I also enjoy searching the food items. There is deli out candy, cookies and smoked Salmon.
Great QualityJeffreyThis unit is well constructed, the wood on it is thick and not that flimsy stuff, it was easy to assemble and very stable when used. I will caution that it is heavy when you are putting it together, nothing a person can't handle with another helping on some of the install steps.

Great, versatile unit!LindaI bought one of these tables years ago for craft projects. My husband confiscated it for HIS projects so I decided it was time to get a second one. The quality of this one is just as good as the one that was purchased over 10 years ago - this is a nice heavy piece that tucks into a corner when the sides are collapsed and a pretty good sized table when both leaves are expanded. It’s versatile and can be configured for a variety of sizes. (And it would be great for a dining table if you are in a small space or need a few extra seats!) I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if the need arises.
Looks great,love the storage, long legs have troubleRuthI love how the table looks. The drawers are very deep which means I can fit a package of napkins without folding them. The only issue we have is that two seats at the table are a problem for people with long legs due to the parts that swing out to hold the tabletop up. We shuffled our seats around and made it work. It’s fairly easy to open and close half the table when we want the extra space, either in the room or at the table. I ordered online without having tried it first but we’re generally satisfied with it.

very difficult to put togetherKellannow that the assembly is done, i'm very happy to have the table. fits perfectly, looks great, and is exactly what i need. the headache of the assembly will fade away but 90% of the screws pre-drilled holes are way too small. i had to widen every single one with a drill, which i've never had to do with anything from here before. the assembled one in my store was very wobbly, which i assume is because the person who put it together there didn't want to have to widen every hole!! since i did, mine is stable and sturdy.
Wood isn't sealed properlyAnonymous reviewerI would have given this 5 stars, but the sides of the table top aren't sealed properly, meaning any liquids risk completely ruining it. Someone spilled a glass of water on mine yesterday and the wood immediately warped along the edge. It's a ridiculous oversight for any wood product, especially a table, and especially for this price. Very disappointing.
Screws too large EmilyI was so excited to get this table but the screws that they came with are not the right size for the holes. There are 24 of them and after spending hours trying to make it work I had to go back and forth to the hardware store to find something else to work (still in the process) It is incredibly frustrating to put together
Perfect for the space that I have CherylI like this table very much. I appreciate the reviewers who advised me to hire someone to assemble it. I did that, and while it was an added cost, I know I would not have been able to assemble it myself and lifted into place. It’s a lovely table, but it’s very very heavy.

Perfect Sewing TableLydiaPurchased to use as a sewing table and storage with my sewing machine in a tight space. I put it together myself in about 3 hours. It's wood and the screws actually stay in place unlike the particle board sewing cabinets. Just perfect!

A terrible to assembleAnonymous reviewerPilot holes are drilled way too small, which makes the hinges somewhat loose as it's absolutely a nightmare to try and get all 32 screws in even remotely right. I hope I put it together firmly enough that it won't collapse on me.
Oh also the packaging is horrendous for the smaller pieces. When I opened one of the boxes and lifted a piece up, I didn't realize that all the smaller pieces were nestled inside of it so they fell all over the floor and scratched it up.

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
