Damaged corner JohnThe two boxes were in perfect shape, however when building the dresser, I realized the corner, the one that will be visible was smushed in. Really disappointing.
Great drawers for the price VipinOrdered 2 for our new apartment. The assembly looked tedious (I've built quite a few Ikea furniture before and I'm not a fan of DIYs). However, once I watched a tutorial online and followed the instructions, everything was fine. First drawer took like probably 1-1.5 hours to build. The second one took half the time. An electric screwdriver is a life saver!
The safety mechanism is fine. I cannot fully open the drawers because I didn't drill it into the wall. However, it still opens fine. If you stuff the drawers to the brim, it will be difficult to get whatever is at the back. For something that I'm looking at using for two years, it is just fine.
Awful to assemble if you don’t have a professional IanNot worth the price for the self-assembly! So much to assemble, too much, and many pieces arrived with brittle broken particle board;… the veneer cracks immediately… it’s so delicate. This is a mess to assemble unless you have professional help. And even then, it’s a broken mess by the time you have it together.
Absolutely trashIanThe assembly was way too complex, directions not clear, and even with a YouTube tutorial to guide me…the particle board and veneer pieces crumbled and fell apart in the process!!! For the price, this was robbery. Not worth it for self assembly furniture. Delicate trash
Instructions are fine!RebeccaWe were worried that reports of wrong instructions were still true. However, we followed the instructions carefully and I’m pleased to say it went together just fine! It took 2 of us about 2.5 hours. Drawers run smoothly, look is nice. The only request I have for IKEA is—please pop an extra or two of each piece of hardware (especially breakable hardware) in the bag. I broke one of the flimsy plastic attachers. The other thing is, the instructions say not to put the long attachment screws in too hard. However, you do need to have them pretty flush or the locking caps won’t work.

DON'T BUY IF YOU CAN'T DRILL INTO A WALLBrendenI live in an apartment, and the building does not allow any sort of drilling. Unfortunately, the drawers only open if you drill in the "safety feature." I spoke with support and there is no way around it. Kind of important information to know... So keep that in mind before buying this dresser.
GREAT PIECE OF FURNITURE!JazmineI'm not sure if it's because this is like my 8th piece of furniture that I purchased from Ikea in the last 3 months, but this wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be to build on my own. It took me about 3 hours (but that's because I have back problems and I was building it on my own so I had to take breaks). The only issue I had was the tracks for the drawers, I kept putting them incorrectly until I read the engraving that tells you if its for the left or right side lol. Other than that, really easy! YOU HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE PICTURE DETAILS LOL

Awful-Directions Are WrongDonnaI wish had read the reviews first. I put this togetherness and now the drawers won’t go in. Now I read the directions are wrong. The drawers tracks are pictured incorrectly. So I guess now I have drive to the store and get help! VERY disappointing. The reviews stating the issue are months old but there was at the store to state this or give correct instructions.
nice dresser, but a lot of workAnonymous reviewerI purchased 2 of these dressers. Took me forever to assemble! Like a couple reviewers reported, there are errors in the instructions/images. Big errors! For steps 9 & 10, switch the inserts around. Use CL 400 for step 9 and CR 400 for step 10. They have the 2 dots in the wrong location. Make sure the wheels are placed on the side of the 2 dots. The other error is in images for steps 18-20. They show the extra holes which is wrong. The images for steps 15-17 are correct. Put the bottom boards on as shown in step 15 and keep it. Ikea needs to fix the instructions!
I deducted one star for the instructions and one of the dressers had a defective piece that I had to work around. In the end, it's a nice dresser though I should've gone with a bigger dresser. I would think about hiring someone to assemble it!
Horrible productNanakoThere are several wooden boards that doesn't match with the instruction picture.(Step9) The hole isn't placed on the right side/place and no matter how I rotate or flip over it doesn't match. I called the customer service and they sent me the replace but it was all the same. I tried to proceed to the further step hoping it might fix somehow but there again same issue came up with another wooden board. Now I applied return process but online says "Return the item with original packaging". How can I undo all the assembly and pack it as original? How can I bring this to the store by myself? It is super heavy, even deliver men carried it with 2 adults. Awful product and service.

just what i needed!Francescainstructions should be reprinted, i can see how that one image might confuse folks (only set me back a few minutes while i figured it out); besides that, i chose this set of drawers because the dimensions were exactly suited to my (already very cluttered) small room. had very little trouble assembling this myself, and now i have a place for my (too) many sweaters and tshirts in addition to extra surface space (for more books of course).
Tip mechanism overkillAnonymous reviewerNot only is there an elaborate mechanism that prevents the drawers from operating without wall mounting the unit, but to prevent tipover the drawers only open about halfway. This means anything in the back half of the already small drawer is impossible to access. In a small dresser like this, it's a super inefficient use of space and means you have to basically pull the drawers out of the frame to use them.
Good dealMichaelAs advertised - a narrow dresser that is just what I needed. The room is small, this doesn't take up much space, provides a lot of storage, looks nice, and is solid. One thing to be aware of is the drawers don't fully open. I think this might be an anti tipping safety feature. It works for me because of the limited space. Also I hired someone to build it so can't comment on the assembly.
Not goodAnonymous reviewerThe instructions are wrong (middle side pictures are wrong). It is VERY SHORT and SMALL - pictures are deceiving. It arrived damaged (didn’t realize until I was already in the middle of building it). I would return it if it wouldn’t be such a hassle to do that…
Great dresser! But watch out in the instructions.. Anonymous reviewerI took a chance on this new dresser (with 0 reviews at the time) and the dresser is on the more affordable side, but the quality is great! It took about 2 hours for me and my fiancé to put together, and we did run into problems with the instructions. The piece that separates the drawers in the middle doesn’t match the picture in the instructions (the two holes at the top will give this away) and this became confusing for us as we didn’t understand if it was a misprint or a manufacturing mistake. We did end up putting the drawer runners on wrong because of this, and had to take them off and fix them after part 1 was already assembled. Besides this one issue, the dresser is very nice. Drawers pull smooth, it’s got tons of room, and its nice and heavy so it doesn’t feel cheap! 8.8/10! (Also, if you prefer tall furniture, this might not be for you, as I’m 5’5 and it stands below my hips, but, it makes up for this in length)
