No elbows on this table. DebWe downsized from a sturdy, 6ft bar height kitchen table to this smaller round table. I like the size and that it Is extendable. However, the table top gives way if any weight is put on the top. 3

Love the concept, hate the material SharonI love the design and the solid wood base. Super functional for a small space. Unfortunately that’s where my love affair with this table stops. The table top is laminate on particle board. After a spilled glass of water I noticed a seam. The next morning the particle board was puffed up & laminate separating. The clear coat is chipping off and laminate further separating. Also, the well where the leaf is stored is an absolute crumb catcher. Use a table cloth! In hindsight I should’ve used a plastic tablecloth to save the laminate. Not sure why the clear coat is also coming off. We don’t scrub it hard. This table is best with light use. Doesn’t hold up to daily use with kids. I have a 3 year old & a 14 year old. If I could replace the top and keep the base & mechanism, I would! I’ve had this a few years now, probably about 4-5 years. Issues started after about a year. 2

Top is peeling at the center seamChristineAfter having the table for a couple years I noticed the laminate top started to lift and break. I called IKEA and was told the table is not under warranty after 1 year and they can not repair it. It is getting progressively worse. I rarely use the table and it is not exposed to direct sunlight or heat. I’m very disappointed.1

I shopped all furniture stores in my area and found nothing like this. I purchased this table on line and it was very affordable and looks great.
Also, no problems with the assemble. I would definitely recommend this product.
