How to get it

Everyone faces each other around a round table and you can make room for socializing by simply adding a leaf. A traditional look with details like the turned leg gives it that little extra.

It’s quick and easy to change the size of the table to suit your different needs. With the extra leaf stored under the table top you can extend the table to seat from 4 to 6 people.

Concealed locking function prevents gaps between top and leaf and keeps the extra leaf in place.

Can be easily extended by one person.

The extra leaf can be stored within easy reach under the table top when not in use.

The clear-lacquered surface is easy to wipe clean.

I reported it at the 428 day mark after purchase not realizing they do nothing after 365 days (zero, absolutely not helpful at all) If you plan to purchase, be aware that the top might bubble on you. I now have 6 places where the top is bubbling.1

Nicely built, but poor designNancy G.This is a sturdy, heavy table. HOWEVER, while the specs show a 26" clearance from floor to edge of table, it does NOT show the 2 extra inches you lose from the box (permanently mounted under the table top) that stores the leaf. The leg clearance under the table is only 24". Unless you have chairs made for a Hobbit, this is not going to be comfortable. The first time we sat down, the corners of the storage box scratched our knees. Unfortunately, it's going back.2

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.

"The round INGATORP extendable table has the same timeless style and carefully designed details as the other tables in the series, but a somewhat stronger expression. It can be easily pulled out and transformed into a large table that seats 6. My idea when I designed the table was to combine traditional details, such as turned legs and fine lines, with smart functions. It makes INGATORP ideal in most situations – and for both parties and everyday."
