5 stars ⭐Mary C.Love the frame. Looks contemporary and beautiful!. Just what I was looking for.5
Only ones available with shadow box type.sue s.Only frames left that allow one to raise the plexiglass 1/2” from picture! Need more choices for the finish (black, natural, etc)5

Framed!jo-annThe frame looks good, but the plexiglass is thin and scratches very easily3
Walls look classicCRISTINE C.Love the design of this frame5
Antique Labels fit PERFECTLY!Verified BuyerI've had 4 antique citrus crate labels for years waiting to be displayed because I couldn't bring myself to pay over $100 EACH to frame them. Their 9" square shape meant custom framing was my only option - until I spotted these in IKEA! Perfect fit and only $10 each!!5
Lovely frame, pricier than othersClaudiaThis is a lovely frame and very decent quality, BUT it is randomly $3-6 more than other frames of the exact same size. It is the only one in the light wood color but I’m not sure that warrants the price jump. That said, it’s beautiful and was the perfect frame for three pieces of art.4
Nice FrameVerified BuyerSimple and Pretty5
Good qualityCbr8733Love these frames. I’ve rebought them multiple times.5
Cute but does NOT last!Katie512I loved this frame when I first bought it. However, it it not solid wood. It has a corky material underneath and tan color that you see is just a sticker. After 2 weeks of sitting on a shelf (not being touched at all) the sticker started peeling up on the the corners.2
Plexiglass Covered in StickersLT8ITThis is the first frame I have ever bought that did not have a glass front. The plexiglass is covered in black 04 PE L stickers which I could not find a way to remove and instantly scratched the plastic while trying to clean it. Rather than go through the nightmare of going back to the store, this is going STRAIGHT INTO THE GARBAGE1
AzeeI like the product, but it was $ 9.99 priced on the rack4
Nice DesignDianajphotoThis frame is eye-pleasing and easy to put together. I bought a few in other sizes. Will buy more. I'm a photographer and artist and frame artwork and photos regularly. I need good-looking frames, buy several at a time and like this price point.5
Works wellHummBugEasy to install, smooth operation, the white keeps light in the room, and affords privacy. The frame is a bit clunky, I liked the aluminum frame that a different blind offered, but it was see thru, and not what I needed.5
Fine for the priceemankcinIt's fine for the price, but I didn't realize it isn't actually a wood frame (wrapped in wood-like covering). Wish it was wood and wish it was strong enough to put glass in. I like the size.3
Bring back glass frontleko_pdxFor years I used to buy all my frames at Ikea. Now I am so disappointed that the frames are using a plastic front instead of glass. The plastic is easily scratched and looks cheap. I am now looking at a competitor store to buy my all my frames. So sad!1
Great framePV JanetI wish they made the deeper and larger ones in this finish5
Beautiful frameArtIsFunAbsolutely gorgeous frame with acid-free white mat. I wish the IKEA frames had less glare on the plexi, but it otherwise wonderful and a great value.4

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

What is fibreboard?

Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
