Product details

A high pillow in soft dobby woven cotton, filled with duck down and duck feathers.

The resilient inner core of down and feathers is surrounded by a soft down/feather filling. This gives good support and relieves pressure on your neck and shoulders, helping you to relax.

Double piping creates larger pockets for the filling to move around in. This increases the fullness and support of the pillow.

You get a dry and comfortable sleeping environment since the cotton fabric breathes well, which helps air to circulate and moisture to evaporate.

The pillow is sold in a cotton drawstring bag so you can roll it up and pack it away when not in use. You can also use the bag as a laundry tote or for storing other personal belongings.

The pillow is machine-washable at 140°F (Hot), a temperature that kills dust mites.

Good to know

351 thread count.

Thread count indicates the number of threads per square inch of fabric. The higher the thread count the more densely woven the fabric.

Down and feathers are natural materials that sometimes have a slight smell. The smell is harmless and fades over time. Airing or washing , and drying it thoroughly in a dryer, helps the smell fade faster.

Tumble dry after washing until the filling is completely dry.

Been Loving IKEA Down Pillows for 20 YearsCarsonI got these as a replacement for the old version of this, which, I think, was called GILDPALM or something. Anyway, this is their new "top of the line" pillow. I've been surprised at how expensive good pillows can be. Even back 20 years ago, I was like, "DANG!" So I went the IKEA way with fingers crossed that the pillow could compete with these $200+ pillows I was seeing. THEY DID. I had those original pillows for ages. I was a kid when I got them and didn't get pillow covers. So by the time I got rid of them, they were WAY ready to go with yellow sweat stains, etc. So now, I picked up a pair of these, fingers crossed, especially with some of the mixed reviews. They arrived and once they had opened and expanded, they were even better than the old version. So fluffy and firm but squishy at the same time. And THIS time I got the washable pillow covers for them, also from IKEA, that are great. Highly recommend.5
Amazing pillowMarceySoft but firm and great support. Most comfortable pillow I’ve owned 5
nice natural materials pillowKalaiIt's getting harder and harder to find bedding at IKEA that doesn't contain artificial materials, either as stuffing or case. This pillow is one of the few down options. So far, I'm liking it. 5
Horrible smellGraceMaybe just unlucky, I was so excited for a new down pillow. The one on display was great. The one I bought after unrolling fluffed up well. During the first night I woke to a smell coming from the pillow that reminded me of burnt hair and feathers. I thought was some weird off gassing, but after several days the smell still persisted. Decided to was and dry, if that doesn't work, I am taking it back. 1
Love this pillowMichelleThis is our new favorite pillow. It’s cool on one side and regular on the other love it 5
Very comfortable but needs more feathers to make it fullerDavidNeeds more feathers to make it fuller4
Hard as a rockPamelaTo start, buying from IKEA with all the names in Swedish, I didn't expect to see that they were made in China. If I had known, I wouldn't have purchased them, but I thought I would give them a try. They were hard as a rock and very uncomfortable.1
Great PillowJohnHard to find down pillows and this one from IKEA is nice and firm and reasonably priced - we have 4 of them!5
NiceEpicI like the loft5
PuffLindaPuffy soft and comfortable.5
Great pillowDerekLove it. Very comfy 5
Minimal supportBriSadly we wanted to like these, but there is no support and it flattens out within minutes. We have to bunch the pillow, and then it is not comfortable. I’d recommend a different down pillow, as these are just too limited on feathers to be considered anywhere close to firm. 1
Fluffy goodness ChristinaThis pillow is so perfectly fluffy, comfortable, and still supports enough for a side sleeper. 5
Not the sameAlexusThese pillows are not what they used to be. The quality of these has gone down. They aren’t nearly as full as the Bergen pillows that existed before this latest redrop. It’s like they knew people would pay for these so they cut costs by filling them halfway. Annoyed I spent $200 on 2 pillows and I’m waking up with stiff and sore shoulders. 2
Favorite pillowStephanieI’ve had a few of these and I come back just for this5

How to care for your down/feather pillow

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your down/feather pillow and keep it fresh. The filling has a natural smell which can be reduced by airing or washing. Wash the pillow separately with a mild detergent (1/3 of the normal amount) on delicate cycle at 140°F. Avoid bleach/fabric softeners. Tumble dry immediately on low heat. A dryer ball or a high-quality tennis ball in the dryer make drying mor efficient. Air your pillow regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
