It STINKSAlexDo not buy this product. the duck feathers in this stink1
Not as good as I had hopedVirginiaI have had the Ikea Knavel pillow for a few years and love it, really my favorite pillow ever. I wanted to buy more for other bedrooms. Sadly the Knavel is no longer being offered, so I was hoping the Bergven would be similar, but it is not at all. First, you notice that it is much heavier than the Knavel (both queen size). Only an “outside pocket” is 90% down but the interior is 90% feathers, so that explains the weight. Secondly, it doesn’t have much loft but rather goes flat. I stuffed it into a smaller (standard size) pillow protector with zipper and that helps somewhat. Overall disappointed but it is still a great purchase as down seems hard to find these days unless you’re paying much more. Glad I only bought one. I really wish Ikea offered the Knavel again, it has held up beautifully.3
Good one that I sleep wellChristine I JuI bought 2 pillows for myself and my husband. We both like it so much.5
My Favorite PillowCarsonI’ve found Ikea’s premium pillows to be exceptional. I had the Guldpalm or whatever it was called for years and years until the pillow clearly needed to be retired. So when I came back and the other model was gone, I was nervous. I snagged a couple of the Bergven and I’m so happy I did.
These pillows are thick, fluffy, and full of feathers. And YET, the second you lay your head down, it instantly gives in just the perfect amount to be comfortable and supportive at the same time. I really can’t recommend these enough.
Yes, they’re a hundo. But hunt around the internet and try to find a full down pillow of this quality at this price. You’ll be hard pressed to!

Love this pillowMadithThis pillow is the best feather pillow i have purchased. It has great support and I am able to adjust it as I need it. The feathers don’t go flat. It is expensive, but worth the extra cost.5
Love this pillow!LeslieBest pillow and I have tried many. My daughter tried it and loved it to so bought her one at Christmas.4
Wonderful pillow!SonyaThis pillow is very comfortable and cozy. To be fair, our previous pillows were ancient and awful, so this is like floating on a cloud by comparison, but it really is a very nice pillow. We'll see how it stands up over time! We've been sleeping with these for about two weeks now and so far, so good!5
Way too fluffyAlexNot for back sleepers. The pillow has so much loft that it tilts my head into my chin.2
Best pillow for the moneyEvelynI’m primarily a side sleeper and sometimes stomach sleeper. I have tried so many pillows the past 6 years to try to find that perfect loft and malleability that my old pillows had, back when I didn’t suffer from insomnia because those pillows were so great.
I’ve tried multiple customizable pillows. Even those from Japan.
This Bergven pillow is IT. It’s what I’ve been searching for all these years. A feather core to provide support for side sleeping, and squishy down feathers surrounding that core that smooshes down when I want to stomach sleep. Best sleep I’ve had in years since I bought this pillow. I liked it so much, I went back to IKEA the next day to buy a second one so I’d have a backup in case they decide to discontinue this.5
Been Loving IKEA Down Pillows for 20 YearsCarsonI got these as a replacement for the old version of this, which, I think, was called GILDPALM or something. Anyway, this is their new "top of the line" pillow.
I've been surprised at how expensive good pillows can be. Even back 20 years ago, I was like, "DANG!" So I went the IKEA way with fingers crossed that the pillow could compete with these $200+ pillows I was seeing. THEY DID.
I had those original pillows for ages. I was a kid when I got them and didn't get pillow covers. So by the time I got rid of them, they were WAY ready to go with yellow sweat stains, etc.
So now, I picked up a pair of these, fingers crossed, especially with some of the mixed reviews. They arrived and once they had opened and expanded, they were even better than the old version. So fluffy and firm but squishy at the same time. And THIS time I got the washable pillow covers for them, also from IKEA, that are great. Highly recommend.5
Amazing pillowMarceySoft but firm and great support. Most comfortable pillow I’ve owned 5
nice natural materials pillowKalaiIt's getting harder and harder to find bedding at IKEA that doesn't contain artificial materials, either as stuffing or case. This pillow is one of the few down options. So far, I'm liking it. 5
Horrible smellGraceMaybe just unlucky, I was so excited for a new down pillow. The one on display was great. The one I bought after unrolling fluffed up well. During the first night I woke to a smell coming from the pillow that reminded me of burnt hair and feathers. I thought was some weird off gassing, but after several days the smell still persisted. Decided to was and dry, if that doesn't work, I am taking it back. 1
Love this pillowMichelleThis is our new favorite pillow. It’s cool on one side and regular on the other love it 5
Very comfortable but needs more feathers to make it fullerDavidNeeds more feathers to make it fuller4
Hard as a rockPamelaTo start, buying from IKEA with all the names in Swedish, I didn't expect to see that they were made in China. If I had known, I wouldn't have purchased them, but I thought I would give them a try. They were hard as a rock and very uncomfortable.1
Great PillowJohnHard to find down pillows and this one from IKEA is nice and firm and reasonably priced - we have 4 of them!5
