3 ways to personalize IVAR
We got creative with one of our most loved pieces of storage furniture by customizing it to suit three different people and their passions. Which is your favorite?
The home gardener
Follow your plants’ growth by creating a home garden. Try growing in water instead of soil for an easy and less messy solution. Keep spare pots and gardening essentials on the lower shelves and let mature plants form a dazzling display on the upper ones.
The sewing enthusiast
Add interest by attaching a contrasting texture. Here we covered the sides and drawers of IVAR with fabric. We started by drilling holes for the handles before covering the front of the drawers with wadding and fabric which we attached to the inside with a staple gun.
The amateur bartender
Update IVAR with a luxurious old school feel. Attach mirrors to the inside – the light reflecting on your glassware will help create a welcoming atmosphere. Paint the doors with your favourite color or motifs. We went for glazed white doors and gold deco.
