How do IKEA Family rewards work?

Collect points with IKEA Family to unlock a reward, then choose your preferred reward and enjoy it in stores, online or via phone.

 

1. Collect points

There are two ways to collect points:
  • By shopping at IKEA
You collect points on almost everything you buy. This includes home furnishing products, services, food and drinks. You do not collect points when you buy an IKEA gift card.
Points are awarded according to the total purchase value:
  • Purchases up to €30: 2 points
  • Purchases between €30.01 and €60: 6 points
  • Purchases between €60.01 and €120: 16 points
  • Purchases between €120.01 and €250: 33 points
  • Purchases between €250.01 and €500: 67 points
  • Purchases between €500.01 and €1,000: 135 points
  • Purchases between €1,000.01 and €2,000: 270 points
  • Purchases between €2,000.01 and €4,000: 540 points
  • Purchases over €4,000: 1,080 points
Points will only be added after the entire shopping process has been completed.
The purchase of IKEA gift cards is not eligible for points.
  • Interacting with certain IKEA tools and services
Sign in to your IKEA Family account to find out how you can collect points and how many points are awarded after each activity is completed.
CHOW DO I KEEP TRACK OF MY POINTS?
You can track the number of points you have earned by logging in to IKEA Family account. To see the points associated with a specific activity, select the "Historic".
The award of points may take up to 48 hours to be reflected in your profile. If this deadline is exceeded without the points having been credited after a purchase or interaction with tools and services, write "I want to talk to a collaborator" in the chat. Alternatively, you can contact (+351) 219 899 945.
General terms and conditions for collecting points
  • There is no maximum limit on the number of points that can be collected
  • Points expire after 12 monthsif they are not used
  • Points can only be collected in the country where the IKEA Family membership is registered
  • Points are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-cash redeemable

2. Unlock a reward

Once enough points have been collected through IKEA Family, the respective reward will be automatically unlocked in your profile.
A reward with the state "Unlocked" indicates that you have already gathered the necessary points to be able to select it.
A reward with the state "blocked" indicates that it is still necessary to accumulate more points.
Sign in to your IKEA Family account to check which rewards are already available to you.

What types of rewards can I enjoy?

Two types of rewards are available in the country where your IKEA Family membership is registered:
  • Product Rewards – can be used in-store, online or over the phone
  • Feeding Rewards – can be used in store at Swedish Restaurant, Bistro e Swedish grocery.


3. Choose your reward

  1. Sign in to your IKEA Family account via the IKEA website or the IKEA app.
  2. Select a reward from the list of unlocked rewards.
  3. Once you have made your choice, the corresponding number of points will be automatically deducted from your IKEA Family profile.
  4. You will then receive a Unique Reward Code, available in the form of QR code or 16-digit code, which can be used in-store, online or over the phone.
To view the terms of use for each type of reward, select the reward you want on the rewards page.

4. Use your reward

Once you've chosen your reward, you'll be able to use it during your in-store, online or phone purchases as follows:
  • In store
    • At the time of payment, please identify yourself as an IKEA Family member and present the QR code in the box.
    • The discount will be automatically applied to the total of the purchase before payment.
    • It is possible to use Various rewards from different categories in the same in-store transaction.
  • Online
    • Sign in to your IKEA Family account and proceed with the purchase.
    • During checkout, select «Redeeming a discount code» and enter your 16-digit reward code.
    • The discount will be automatically applied to the total of the purchase before payment.
    • It is only possible to use a reward per transaction in online shopping.
  • By phone
    • Before finalizing the order, indicate to the employee the 16-digit reward code that you want to use.
    • The discount will be automatically applied to the total of the purchase before payment.
    • It is only possible to use a reward per transaction in purchases made by telephone.
General terms and conditions for using rewards
  • Each reward code is unique and cannot be used more than once
  • The reward expires if the code is not used within 30 days after its attribution
  • In case of cancellation of the order, the reward will be regeneratedwhile maintaining the same type of reward
  • It is possible to exchange a reward for another type of reward, as long as the respective code has not already been used. If you want to change the reward you choose, type "I want to talk to a collaborator" in the chat. Alternatively, you can contact (+351) 219 899 945.
