What is IKEA's return policy for mattresses?

It’s important that you’re happy with your new mattress. If it hasn’t been used and is still in its original packaging, you can return it. If you’ve already used it, you can take advantage of the “Love it or exchange it” policy and exchange it once for a more suitable option if you feel it doesn’t meet your expectations.

Please note that your new mattress may feel a bit firm at first. We recommend allowing at least one month for your body to adjust to the mattress and for the mattress to adapt to your body. For the best comfort, it’s also essential to choose the right pillow.
You can return your mattress if it hasn’t been used and is still in its original packaging.

Alternatively, if you change your mind, you can exchange it once within 365 days of purchase, provided it is not dirty, stained, or damaged.
To make an exchange, simply visit an IKEA store with your proof of purchase. A co-worker will help you find the best solution for your needs.
If you choose a more expensive mattress, you will need to pay the difference. If you choose a less expensive one, the remaining amount will be credited to an IKEA Refund card for future use.
This policy does not apply to sofa bed mattresses, children’s mattresses, or mattress toppers.
